INTRODUCTION
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result

Perhaps you have opened this book with a fair amount of skepticism. I hope so. The title Gold Is A Better Way was chosen specifically to have this impact. I hope you will read this book and challenge everything in it. As you do, please evaluate the logic and find as much fault with it as you can. This is where I began my own journey five years ago.
I believe that information is power. The information in this book is so powerful, you may be upset that nobody shared it with you before now. Its information that Wall Street definitely will not tell you. I want it to get you fired up and upset. Information learned without emotion is not retained. Its emotion that caused me to write this book and emotion that will get you to take action. Action that I believe is more necessary now than at any time in history.
As a companion to this book, Ive spent over a year building and creating goldisabetterway.com , an educational member website where you can do your own comparisons, execute your own calculations, and find answers on your own. There are dozens of videos and additional content that will provide you tools to evaluate the markets like a professional. From there you can develop a strategy. People pay thousands of dollars to get access to this kind of information. Because you have taken action and purchased my book, I am giving you access to this information for free. I believe youll find it the most comprehensive site of its kind ever created. The book and companion site have been designed to provide maximum value and to allow for you to streamline your evaluation. Time, after all, is the most valuable commodity. I want to help you make the best use of it.
Why Should You Listen To Me?
Why should you listen to me, especially when Wall Street and its financial advisors tell you to do the opposite? This is the first question I would be asking if I were you.
I have the good fortune of being a co-founder and partner in the highest rated gold company in the country, Advantage Gold. We only work with investors who are acquiring physical gold and other precious metals as part of an overall portfolio, mostly within qualified retirement accounts. Our clients are long term investors, not traders . We began the business four years ago with just three employees and since then have become the gold standard of precious metals firms. For the last two years we have won the Trustlink Award, created by the Better Business Bureau, as the highest rated precious metals firm in the country. We have helped our clients acquire hundreds of millions of dollars of precious metals, and have thousands of clients that hail from every state in the country. Today, we employ more than 50 people.
So what makes me believe I have information that can help you? Understanding my backstory may help. Five years ago my life looked very different than it does today. I was not a successful partner of a large national company. In fact, quite the opposite. Five years ago I went through a very difficult time in my life. The entertainment career I had devoted my entire adult life to had hit a dead end. I was in debt, had no real business skills, (I had been in the movie business after all), and had to figure out how I was going to survive. I was at the lowest point in my life, and was searching for answers.
20 years prior, after graduating college, I had narrowed down my future career between two very different paths. I could either get my JD/MBA at one of the top law and business schools in the country, or I could move to Los Angeles and pursue a career in the entertainment business. All of my family and most college friends chose the business or law school route. I took the road less traveled, and moved out west.
My journey in the entertainment business is a story for another book. Suffice to say I believed I was in the midst of a successful career producing movies and developing superhero franchises. I had sold my first big movie to Paramount Studios starring Mark Wahlberg and had forged a partnership with the iconic Stan Lee and the cable giant Comcast to create a new entertainment studio. On paper, I was worth millions. I was living my dream, had overcome the odds, and was among the lucky few to find success in the movie business or so I thought. As quickly as you can say, Comcast acquires NBC Universal is how fast things turned upside down for me. Our newly inherited partners at NBC Universal had no interest in our venture. Comcast walked away and I found myself unemployed. I had leveraged my entire future into a partnership that no longer existed. The allure of Hollywood that drew me in 22 years earlier, finally spit me out. I was 43 years old, single, and deeply in debt. I was left to imagine what my life would have become had I gone the more traditional route. I probably would have married and had a successful law or business career like my brothers and most of my college friends. To say that I was going through an existential crisis would be an understatement. My spirit had been broken. I begged God that if he would just show me where to go, I would follow faithfully. Thankfully, my friend got me a job where he worked selling gold. Little did we know that this moment would change both of our lives forever.
