Following in the footsteps of its previous title, Injustice, Mortal Kombat X is a killer beat-em-up strategic game and is finally available on Android! This guide will give you tips and hints that will have you playing your best game to achieve Flawless Victory.

Before doing anything, sign up or log into your WB Play account. If you also do this on your console, youll unlock Ninja Mime Johnny Cage on both. Hes a good solid bronze starting character, besides, Ninja Mime!

FIGHT!

Early on in the game, attacking is generally going to be the best defense for you as long as your opponent isnt hiding a silver card. However, its a good idea to hold block when your enemy team tags in and out since they tend to use their special moves as soon as they enter. Pay attention to the character portraits and watch for full bars so you know when to expect an attack, and switch characters frequently to maximize the amount of XP each of your character gets and to minimize damage received.

Kove Kard Glitch

Besides the great rewards you receive for finishing challenges in both versions, theres currently also a glitch that gives you an unlimited amount of koins! Once you finish button-mashing through 5 stages, test your might on the console. You can claim the XP-boosting Kove Kard in the Console Unlock section of the app.

You can continue to claim the Kard, which will multiply the benefits and give you

1,200 koins when its completely maxed. You can do this repeatedly, so make sure you use it to your benefit before the glitch gets fixed!

A Family Affair

Whether youve earned your coins fairly or from the above method, its your choice on how you want to spend your koins. We strongly suggest that you invest in members of the Blade/Cage family (since you have Ninja Mime Johnny Cage already). In particular, we recommend that you fuse together multiple Silver Cassie Cage kards, as she gains a large health and attack boost when on the same team as her parents. Another option is Gold Cutthroat Kano, as his card is the only one you can purchase using coins.

Soul-Nado

The most valuable currency in Mortal Kombat X is souls, which are the only thing you can use to unlock some of the most powerful and rare characters. There are numerous ways to collect souls, such as advancing through Battle Mode and finishing Bonus Missions. The developers have been generous when it comes to free gifts, so be sure to check the sub-menu from the home screen by selecting the small ninja icon at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. Its extremely important to have a great team for the upcoming Multiplayer and Raiden Challenge.

In the mobile version of the game, you must fight a team of 3 fighters. Just keep tapping away or holding onto your screen while bashing in any opponent that gets in the way. You can perform 3-hit combos any time you tap the screen. Even if characters are blocking, they will receive chip damage. So, when you have the chance, land all 3 of the attacks.

For your character combos 4th and final strike, pay attention when it appears on the screen and swipe in the indicated direction to land the attack. The best times to use special moves are when you feel like using it as a combo finisher or when the opponent is recovering from the ground. Dont just casually throw around specials.

Put Together a Team of Warriors Belonging to a Particular Type

There are many types of charactersMartial Artist, Outworld, Spec Ops, Saurian, and Oni. Your top priority is to put together a very viable team, so you need to put a team together that uses 2 or 3 character types. For instance, the Shirai Ryu card will gift fellow Martial Arts types +5% attack power. Also, troopers use the same boost to help their fellow Spec Ops characters. At the start of the game, youll find this strategy extremely helpful.

Replay Previous Stages to Grind for EXP

This mobile fighter becomes increasingly difficult pretty quickly. Once youve reached the third tower, youll begin to run into Silver tier characters who can take quickly take out your Bronze tier fighters with their special moves (even when youre blocking). The best way to strengthen you team and prepare them for the upcoming challenges it to backtrack.

Go through previous stages a second time before starting new ones. Dont start a new tower before trying this method. The progress of your current tower will be wiped away. If you encounter a strong team that easily defeats your team, you might want to just play a previous tower and then start over on the tower that killed you before.

Spend Your Koins Wisely on Support Cards

Support cards can be purchased using Koins. These cards will boost the characters that they are attached to. Remember not to spend Koins on just any Support card you come across. Tap the cards to view their info and buy whichever ones will help make your character types stronger.

For example, if your team is full of Saurian characters, youll want to cop items such as Saurian Cunning. Particular characters come with their own specific

Support cards like Scorpion (as seen above). You can buy support cards when viewing a character in your team if you want. Remember that two of the same kind of Support types can be fused to strengthen your main one.

If Youre Going to Spend Some Real Cash, Spend Them on Souls

Did you know that Souls arent easy to come by? Souls are represented at the top of the screen by the green currency. Souls give you the ability to purchase Gold tier characters. You can also spend Souls to get Kombat Packs which gives you two random cards plus one random Gold character. Souls allow you to unlock some of the best content in the game. If you decide to spend money on this game, use it to buy souls.
