Dear Africa Adventure Company Safarier:
You are about to depart on the adventure of a lifetime! If this is your first safari or your twentieth, there is one thing we can guarantee Africa will inspire you! It is impossible to not be touched in some way by the magic of Africa. Animals that you have seen countless times on television are now so close you could almost reach out and touch them. The sights and sounds will leave you breathless and the people youll encounter will leave an imprint on your spirit. Yes, you will definitely be inspired by Africa!
More than 25 years ago Mark Nolting experienced this same feeling, the enchantment that can only come from an African safari. He set out to create a safari company that was unlike any other and The Africa Adventure Company was born. Steering clear of cookie cutter itineraries, Mark and his staff have opened the door to travelers and exposed them to the real Africa. Our safaris feature small out-of-the way camps, top notch guiding, incredible game viewing and memories to last a lifetime.
Africa is going through its own evolution of eco-conservation. Supporting controlled tourism to the national parks and game reserves allows visitors to witness the glory of nature without damaging its resources. Camps have been making changes like using solar power in place of gasoline or diesel generators and buying local produce or growing their own. Low-impact travel extends to camps that give back to their local communities. By employing villagers and educating the children, they have a vested interest in the success of the camp and habitat of the parks.
On a personal note, we would like to thank our past clients for the wonderful referrals. It means so much to us that you regard our company, staff and our passion for Africa in such high esteem to recommend us to family and friends. With safari companies popping up and the internet making it hard to know who you can trust to deliver the trip of a lifetime, your favorable word-of-mouth has contributed to our success over the years.
The Africa Adventure Companys outstanding service and knowledge has been recognized with the travel industry. We have been selected as Cond Nast Travelers Top Specialists in the World for the past eight years.
We have also been selected as one of the top Africa Specialists on Earth by National Geographic Adventure Magazine and for Travel & Leisures A-List as well. What also sets us apart from other companies is that we are authors of this book as well as Africas Top Wildlife Countries a 700+ page travel guide currently in its 7th Edition.
We have a newly designed website that will assist in answering your questions about the regions and camps you are interested in traveling to and more details about our staff not to mention an extensive array of safari itineraries that will whet your appetite for your next adventure. The Africa Adventure Company looks forward to sharing our knowledge and designing a safari that will leave you inspired for a lifetime!

Mark W. Nolting has had the pleasure to explore and research the African continent for over 30 years. He expanded his passion for Africa into a successful tour company called The Africa Adventure Company, now celebrating its 25th Anniversary. One of the top leaders in the safari industry, The Africa Adventure Company (AAC) specializes in customized adventures appealing to all budgets. Beyond the traditional safari destinations of Eastern and Southern Africa, AAC is expanding travelers horizons to new frontiers such as Ethiopia and Madagascar.
Mark recognized a need for a comprehensive travel book about the various safari destinations within Africa and from that Africas Top Wildlife Countries was born. This book is the perfect resource for uncovering the diverse wild-life reserves, attractions and safari camps and lodges, and stands alone as the quintessential must read for anyone preparing for a safari.
For several consecutive years now, Cond Nast Traveler magazine has recognized Mark as one of the Worlds Top African Travel Specialists. Mark continues to travel to Africa yearly to update his books and explore new areas. One of Marks special passions is speaking to individuals and groups about Africa and planning a safari for them to this magical continent. His enthusiasm is contagious and he loves talking about the epic game viewing, gorgeous accommodations and scenery that is unmistakably Africa. In the end clients have a personalized safari that will exceed their expectations and fulfill their dreams!
