Learn How to Add 2 to 4 Hours of Productive Time to Your Day, Every Day!
What could you do with up to 4 more hours in a day to do what you need to get done? Youre about to discover how to save time and be more productive in your day, which leads to more time in your life. Does this sound familiar? I used to wake up and immediately get to the office as fast as I could so I could get a jump on my to do items. Maybe I would grab some drive thru on the way, just to save more time. I would stay late and finish answering all of the emails and voicemails I had piled up. I never took any classes in the things I was interested in, I never read any books, I never went to lunch with my friendsall because I just didnt have the time.
However, I would look around and see people I knew coming in at a normal time, going to lunch, getting the promotions and making more money than me (easily looked up on sites like glassdoor.com).
I had my brand new Franklin planner so why wasnt I keeping up with them? I finally got fed up with it all and got back to basics. Plain ole paper and pen were my best friends while I took some real time to research the best time management tools and methodologies. Over time and constant trial and error I finally figured out a system that works and felt like it was my duty to share it with others.
Do these methods work? In the last year, I have gone from a back room worker to my boss most trusted employee where we discuss the current business and its future. I have increased my income by 40% and rising! I spend all evenings and weekends with my family and have been creating lasting bonds and memories. I get to work at a normal time and I leave at a normal time, yet everyone comments on how much I get done.
Obviously just reading this book will not bestow these great benefits, it has taken me a consistent daily effort to achieve everything I have today. It is very easy to do, but also easy not to do. Find your motivation and get to work today. Hopefully you can find some golden nuggets to implement in your own life and take back control over your time!

Why this book? Because it is Real and Personally Written by the Real Meand it Works!

If this book presents a topic that you are interested in learning more about, then I highly recommend its contents for you. Unlike most of the Kindle books being published today, I am writing this myself, as myself, in my own words and using my own experiences. I have been studying the field of personal development for over 10 years now and have incorporated each of these lessons into my own life with outstanding results that just keep getting better and better. My quality of life has gone from being aimless, jobless, broke and bouncing around relatively homeless (thank goodness for friends and relatives) to a life that is abundant in every way; wonderful family, career, daily happiness and overwhelming gratitude for what I have and excitement for what is to come. For years now I have literally been rebuilding myself in every way. My character, habits and ideals have been shaped through countless books, seminars and mentors I have sought out to help me figure how I got myself knocked down as well as how to pick myself back up. I wanted to write this because I want to share what I have learned and if I can help someone push past an obstacle that normally might otherwise have held them down then, I am happy. My true goal is that my experiences and writings will help 10,000 people in some way shape or form. Even just one new idea or distinction can set you on a better path than you are on today, I truly believe this book will provide you with that.

80/20 in a Nutshell

I want to quickly share my perspective on the 80/20 principle so you can better understand why I am writing this book (and the book series) as well as to give you an informational overview so no matter what your familiarity you will have a better understanding of why I feel it is one of the top 5 most powerful distinctions and tools you can utilize in your life and career. 80/20 is more formally known as The Pareto principle which simply states that, for most events, approximately 80% of the effects (outputs) come from 20% of the causes (inputs). The principle's origins are attributed to and named it after an Italian economist named Vilfredo Pareto, who had noted in the early 1900's that 80% of the property in Italy was owned by 20% of the population; Pareto originally developed the principle by observing that 20% of the pea pods in his own garden produced 80% of the actual usable peas. From there the principal has been extrapolated to apply to business (20% of your customers account for 80% of your sales) and life (20% of the inputs in your life are generating 80% of the outputs). This intrigued me, as a person who does not like to waste time, I figured that I could fast track my road to success by simply focusing on the activities that would bring me the most results with the least effort. Now, this does not equate to laziness, it simply means that truly focusing on what matters most, I could accomplish more in less time. Just like a rifle shot, I am able to travel further, faster and have a greater impact. This book is written to be just that, a focused laser beam on the topic of Time Management and Productivity

Not Just Another Time Management Book Collecting Dust on the Shelf

I know what you are thinking because I have been in your shoes. I know you have taken time management classes, read tons of articles and books, bought the latest gadget, app, calendar, plug in, etc. Yet here you are buying yet another resource to solve the problem of getting more done in less time.

Well you are in luck, because this book provides the best and most effective tools that I have found to get more of the RIGHT THINGS done (yes, there is real emphasis there) and have more time for my family and myself.

Introduction: What is this whole time thing?

First of all lets take a step back and think about what we are trying to do here. What is time really? You can look in the dictionary but at the end of the day, time is the period where action/inaction takes place.

Time can really be categorized into two types: traditional time, as measured by a clock and the real moments we live and work and play in, aka actual time. In traditional time, we all have the same 24 hours a day and each second of time passes by equally for all. When a week goes by, then 7 days have passed, thats it.

In actual time, what you experience is seemingly relative. Time zips by or slowly muddles through based on what you're doing and where your focus is at the time. Two hours watching a terrible play will usually feel as if it has been an entire day, yet we can spend a whole day doing something we actually love and it will only feel like a couple of hours.

Which accurately describes your world? Actual time or traditional time?

The simple and omnipresent reasons why most time management tools and systems fail is that they are created to help you get a choke hold on traditional time. My feeling is that traditional time is irrelevant. You don't live in a state of traditional time. You live your life in actual time, an existence in which time flies by when you are enjoying a good time or slows to a crawl at times when you are bored or generally not fulfilled.
