Dedication
This book is dedicated to the seven million people killed during the civil wars in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Innocent civilians were murdered because of the infighting (funded by multinational companies) to grab the resources of the rich Congo. Let us come together and join hands in a show of solidarity to wipe out poverty, suffering, injustice, discrimination, and humiliation that the people of Eastern Congo have gone through.
Millions of people have lost their lives, homes, and belongings for reasons they did not create; it breaks my heart. The people of the Congo say:
No to imperialism
No to domination
No to discrimination
No to injustice
No to land grabbing
The oppressed workers and peasants of the Congo say enough is enough. The Congolese population seek peace, equality, justice, and an end to the constant exploitation of their resources.
Acknowledgments
I would like to express my appreciation to the many people who continue to assist and help me daily. Special thanks to my wife Charlotte Lokanga and my children Engombe Wedi Lokanga, Shungu Umumbu Lokanga, Maranga Pama Lokanga (Mama Tshike), and Onadikondo Omadjela Lokanga (Papa Tshike). I extend my gratitude to my father Chief Lokanga Lopongo Onadikondo and my mothers Ehadi Walo, Ombawo Mundeke, and Ohandjo Tendake. My highest esteem goes to my late grandparents Chief Onadikondo Omadjela, Chief Ediho Kengete Ta Koi, and Mama Esambo Wanyakoi.
I am very grateful to Professor Rene Yamapi, Professor Laurent Cleenewerck and Euclid (Euclid University) for supporting my research in theoretical physics and theoretical computer science. Thanks also to my dear brother and friend Professor Ernest Parfait Fokoue, who continues to give moral support and practical assistance, and from time to time through our correspondence helps me to clarify ideas and provides constructive criticism.
My appreciation extends to my brothers and sisters for their interest, advice, and encouragement. Thanks to my brothers Onadikondo Omadjela, Lokanga Lopongo, Tsheko Lopala, Tolosudi Lokanga, Mukanga Lokanga, Tokombe Lokanga, Mupe Ndombasi (Ne Ndombasi Kongo), and Istadeva Emmanuel, for their constant support and encouragement. I also offer my gratitude and thanks to all members of my extended family.
Finally, I would like to pay my highest respects to and express admiration for the work done by the following people:
- Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba, a Sufi religious leader and the founder of the large Mouride Brotherhood in Senegal.
- Professor Ngg wa Thiong'o, the most important African writer.
- P.E. Lumumba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, father of the nation
Introduction
T hroughout the history of science there have been many discoveries of new phenomena, which have not been satisfactorily explained by the prevailing theories or existing physical laws. For instance, despite the successes and achievements of quantum theory (QT), some paradoxes, mysteries, countless interpretations, different schools of thought, gaps in experimental work, or incompleteness of the theory have been pointed out. Something is missing from those theoretical and experimental studies. Some arguments or explanations seem incomplete or perhaps unreliable. As a result, new hypothesizes and theories arise. They emerge out of the prevailing wisdom and are postulated to cover new knowledge or explain the phenomena, failures, or incompleteness of the old theory in a new and, perhaps better, framework.
Therefore, the way forward would be for new experiments to be designed and performed until a satisfactory outcome was obtained come out of the theoretical hypothesis and the experimental work; new theories could be accepted and lead to new physical lawsthus collaboration among theorists, engineers, and experimentalists is crucial. We have learned throughout the history of science and technology that science is an evolving processnobody knows what the future will bring.
