ABOUT THE DAS SERIES
This book, DAS Book Three, is the first one written specifically for women and is not primarily about defending oneself against a criminal assault, although this is certainly included in the book
If you have not read DAS Book One (Deadly Attack Survival), you should understand that DAS is not a martial art nor an art of self-defence. It is strictly a strategy to survive an attack by an assailant who intends to kill you or cause you grievous bodily harm, hopefully without suffering any injury yourself. Prior knowledge or training in a martial art is not necessary in order to learn DAS. However, there is no conflict with martial arts and DAS could be considered supplementary to a martial art. Besides lowering your risk of death, a great benefit of DAS is that it can be learned in a few days and you can train on your own without a partner.

IMPORTANT!
This is Book Three of the Deadly Attack Survival series. Although you are best advised to read Book One and Book Two first, it is not vital that you do so. This book concentrates on strategies, tactics and techniques to avoid being a victim of rape or any other sexual assault and the book stands alone for this purpose without relying on other books. Books One and Book Two, on the other hand, teach you how to defend yourself and defeat a large, strong male. To do this, you will have been taught:
a) How to strike an assailant with maxim speed and power.
b) Where to strike an assailant, i.e., the areas of his body that are as vulnerable on him as they are on a twelve-year old child.
c) How to ensure that your assailant will be unable to continue his attack.
d) How to program your subconscious mind to react instantly, automatically and effectively even when taken by surprise.
This book, Book Three, does not ignore this important information, but does not go into the detail that you will find in Book One and Book Two. For that purpose, Book One is by far the most important.
UNIT ONE DONT BE A VICTIM
Rape and similar sexual assaults are a worldwide epidemic that no one is talking about. Rapes and attempted rapes on university campuses are at epidemic levels but victims often don't report the offences and university administrations often cover up these incidents in order to protect their schools reputation and to attract applicants. Victims of rape often fear they will be chastised by their acquaintances (these people are not friends), not taken seriously by the police or eventually made out to be of loose morals and blameworthy by a defense lawyer.
Worse still, rape victims often don't survive and the offence becomes a murder investigation.
The only practical recourse is to learn how to prevent sexual assault, i.e., to not become a victim.
The first book in the Deadly Attack Survival series, entitled "Self Defense: The Secret Chinese Strategy for Personal Power", clearly teaches the reader how a small person, male or female, can defeat a large, strong man, even a psychopath. However, a much preferable option is to not become the target of a rapist in the first place.
This is the specific purpose of this book. You will be provided with strategies, tactics, and the physical ability to reduce your risk of becoming a victim.
DEADLY ATTACK SURVIVAL
Book One of the DAS series explains how to strike an assailant to render him unable to continue his attack...how to manifest speed and power, and how to train the subconscious mind so you will react instantly and correctly in times of emergency and danger.
Book Two of the DAS series, "Self Defense on the Street: Feel Safe Be Safe", explains how to cope with attacks on the street and to develop street smarts so you won't become a victim.
This book, Book Three, "Don't be a Rape Victim", is designed to elaborate and expand the information in Book Two, specifically for women who are or may be the target of a rapist or other sexual predator.
YOUR RISK OF BECOMING A VICTIM
I don't want to make women paranoid or fearful as there is every reason to believe you will live your entire life in safety without ever being targeted by a predator.
To be realistic, however, the world we live in is not as safe as our governments would have us believe. According to research, 2-3% of the global population are psychopaths or sociopaths. Martha Stout, a psychologist at Harvard University believes the correct figure might be closer to 4%. Take your calculator, enter the population of your country, or even your city, and calculate 4% of that number. Alarming isn't it?
We usually teach people who live, work or walk in dangerous areas how to protect themselves, but with women who may be targeted by a sexual predator those dangerous areas are only the tip of the iceberg. She can be attacked anywhere, anytime in the safest of cities. University campuses are not usually considered dangerous areas but they are amongst the favorite hunting grounds of sexual predators, both students and non-students. Unfortunately, rape is a possibility anywhere that men and women can be found together in a non-public setting or where risk of being seen or caught is believed to be minimal by the rapist. Although a location where there are no witnesses present, rapes may also occur in public settings such as a party if the rapist believes that no one present will inform the authorities. The victim may be awake and screaming or drugged and semi-conscious or unconscious.
UNIT TWO MANY THINGS YOU BELIEVE ARE NOT TRUE
Before discussing locations, circumstances, opportunities for the predators, lets first discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the predator and the victim.
When you watch a movie or TV show of a woman approached by a rapist, usually wearing a hoody and in the shadows, invariably the female victim will scream, be terrified and cower or run if she can. The predator always overtakes her, rapes her and then kills her. The predator is never in danger himself and he always succeeds in committing his crime. The reasons for this are related in DAS Book One, but in a nutshell, females are conditioned almost from birth to believe they are weak, inferior and helpless against any male assailant. This mental conditioning almost guarantees they will be unable to protect themselvesthey will be raped, and if the assailant so decides, they will be murdered.
It would never cross their mind that their assailant is just as vulnerable as they are. He may have muscles and be stronger than his intended victim but neither of those advantages will overcome skill. Can he withstand a strike to the throat? Can he withstand a kick to the knee joint? Can he withstand a knee strike to the testicles? Regardless of how muscular and strong he is, there are no muscles on the human body to protect those areas. Furthermore, does he have the skill to protect those vulnerable areas of his body? Can he attack you and still protect his throat, knee joint and testicles? Maybe he can if he is a highly trained martial artist but ninety-five percent of predators cannot.
