Meet the author

Galle Graham was born in Brittany, France, and went to University at La Sorbonne in Paris where she studied English. On moving to England, Galle taught French in London comprehensive schools for 25 years. She now works for the National Union of Teachers. She has a Masters degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Kent at Canterbury. She is a regular contributor to France Inter, the French national radio, about English educational news.

Galle enjoys travelling back and forth from London to Paris and to her beloved Brittany. She never travels without her camera and tries to capture the changes she observes in the course of her frequent visits to France. She believes the Vlib, a system of bike rental using a swipe card at bike stations dotted all over Paris, is the best way to appreciate the capital.
