DR. WALTER RUSSELL

Sculptor, Painter, Architect, Composer, Author, Philosopher, Doctor of Science.

I lovingly dedicate this book to the memory of my dearly beloved husband whose selfless life was dedicated to the one purpose of the unification of mankind through greater scientific knowledge of man's eternal Oneness with God and his fellowman.

Because of his tremendous contributions in the five fine arts and sciences, he was familiarly known as "the man who tapped the secrets of the universe" and the modern Leonardo da Vinci. His life and works will ever remain a monument to the wonder and glory of Cosmic awarenessand a dynamic example of man's unlimited power when working knowingly with God.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

FOREWORD

To solve the mystery of life and "death" has forever been man's deepest desire. The fixed belief that the individuality of man begins and ends in one life cycle retards intellectual advancement, for great and sorely needed knowledge of incalculable value exists in our very midst and is spurned by intellectual book-trained conformists.

This has been the chief difficulty in regard to the acceptance of the reincarnation principle, for the evidence in support of it is mainly beyond the limited range of present-day sense perception. The purpose of this book is to bring that evidence out from behind the veil of the unseen and present it in words of present-day understanding with such force that the principle of reincarnation will be so fundamentally known that it will henceforth be un-debatable.

I wish to say to you, however, that this book will not be easy to read nor has it been easy to write. The most profound subject under discussion by man cannot possibly be easy to read or write but the soul-deep urge of the legions who are now so rapidly awakening into increasing God-consciousness has been the impelling force which has motivated my pen and eased my effort.

Desire in your heart for self-transcendency can alone ease your effort in reading and comprehending the vital new knowledge which these pages will reveal to you. New knowledge based upon new concepts and written in a necessarily new language is not a book for casual or light reading. All new knowledge requires great mental effort. It would be impossible to acquire more than a small percentage of what is herein written in one readingor even by twenty readings. If you comprehend but one page of each chapter by one sincere reading, however, you will lift yourself ever higher toward that highest pinnacle of your desire to know God and be One with Him. This is a book for a lifetime study, and is written not to entertain but to inspire those who are ready for the next vital stage in man's unfolding.

The simplest of all stories is the hardest to tell when one has to tell it to the senses in words. This marvelous story cannot be told to the senses in words. It can be told only by inspired Mind to reinspired Mind. It cannot be sensed. It must be KNOWN. The story is not in the lines of words. It is in the blank spaces between the lines. Pause, therefore, often enough for your Mind to read the blank spaces between the words so that you will awaken the KNOWING which lies dormant within your Consciousness instead of only the vibrant motion of your senses which know nothing but can remember and repeat everything.

Let the noise of your vibrating senses die down once in a while and seek the silence from which that noise springs. In that way you can alone KNOW the great mystery which is being unfolded for you here in these pages, step by step, by taking one idea at a time and telling you about it as simply as possible. We must talk about it simply for from now on you will be confronted with new thoughts and ideas which are so entirely new and strange to you that it will require great effort on your part to discard your old primitive conceptswhich your senses have deceived you into formingand replace them with new ones beyond the power of your senses to distort. It is not easy to step into another world which is utterly different from that which your senses have built up for you, but the reward for the effort will simplify your life and multiply your power to control it.

The mistaken concept that death of the "body" can be conquered and the "body" continue on forever MUST be erased from your thinking. Continuity of the positive body is NOT what conquering death means.

Reincarnation is difficult to explain to people because their concepts of this age in the unfolding of man are still too primitive for them to comprehend many facts of Nature which are beyond their limited range of sensing. That extremely limited range of sensing is man's great handicap to the comprehension of this principle. When people say casually, "Do you believe in reincarnation? Please tell me about it," I shudder at the task for it is impossible to explain reincarnation to anybody whose concepts of bodies, and life and death of bodies, are what people of the present age think they are.

By clarifying some of man's misconceptions, however, the world might think differently with respect to the basic necessity of reincarnation.

The first step toward a better understanding of God's intent of the principles involved is to paint a brief picture of God's reason for creating this universe and man. This book is but one effort of a still greater effort in aiding the human race to reach beyond its present physical level of a materialized civilization in which men are the wheels of its machines to the higher levels in which man is supreme.

Up to the present early stage of man's unfolding, his mortality is real to him and his immortality is still but an assumption. That which he sees with his eyes constitutes that which he thinks he knows. That which he cannot see with his eyes, however, including all which lies hidden in unfathomed secrecy behind the veil of unknown "space"is in complete control of every action of every man on earth but man does not yet know that. For that reason he has assumed that he has free will to build a universe in his own image instead of in God's image and has paid for his ignorance with deep agony.
