Dr. Elaine Wyllie, Professor of Neurology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, is an epilepsy specialist at Cleveland Clinic who provides cutting-edge treatment for children from around the world. Creating seven editions of Wyllies Treatment of Epilepsy is one of her signature achievements. She is also the author of The Cleveland Clinic Guide to Epilepsy, an authoritative book for the lay public. Dr. Wyllie has published over 250 scientific reports, and her contributions to the field have been recognized by honors including the American Epilepsy Societys prestigious Research Award. Dr. Wyllie also received Cleveland Clinics coveted Master Clinician Award, which is presented to a single physician once a year for commitment to outstanding patient care. She has recently become active in social media and authors a regular blog on epilepsy for US News & World Report. Cleveland Clinic has highlighted her in a series of epilepsy education videos available at www.clevelandclinic.org/epilepsy.
