PREFACE
BREAK THE CHAINS!
C olonialism never really vanished. European and later North American imperialism, which took hundreds of millions of human lives on all continents, still continues, with its brutal onslaught against all proud and non-servile cultures and governments. Millions of men, women and children are dying as a result, every year.
While Western/Christian desire to control and to rule, is mainly to blame for this horrid situation, imprisonment, even destruction of disobedient nations is often done through economic means, or through twisting of the international law, or through both.
International law is, after all, being dictated by the ruling group of nations, which either belongs or serves the Empire. Empire is the law. The same can be said about neoliberalism, which is economic expression of imperialism.
Neoliberalism, the plague and deadly killer of the 21 st Century has invaded the western world and is increasingly also encroaching on the east. Neoliberalism, a boundless form of capitalism, is economic fascism. Its the white collar weapon with which the empire and its vassal states mostly the European Union wage financial war around the world, subjugate nations by imposed debt caused bankruptcy, impoverishing entire nations by privatizing public assets, like pensions funds, education, health services causing unemployment, famine and outright misery and death. Neoliberalism has killed millions of people around the world in the last 15 years.
The instigators of neoliberalism, Washington and its Western allies know no scruples. Their goal is full spectrum dominance of the world. The monster moves around the globe like a multi-tentacle octopus. Its three most deadly weapons are financial and economic strangulations of nations that need to be dominated with the objective of regime change, bombing a sovereign country into a state of sustained chaos, and the voracious lie and propaganda machine that is false-flagging public opinion into consent for war, conflicts, fighting so-called terrorists. Terrorists are all those who are defending their sovereign nations from being taken over and plundered by the west.
Neoliberalism works with a fake and fraudulent dollar-based monetary system which, de facto, has become the worlds chief currency, when Nixon ordered in 1971 to abandon the gold standard, officially to pay the US Vietnam war debt. In reality, making the US dollar the major reserve currency, the currency in which international trade and compacts are denominated, and most importantly the currency in which all hydrocarbon trading has to be carried out as dictated to OPEC in 1974 by the Carter Administration such a US dollar would be much more valuable than gold that could be amassed by any nation, as it would make the dollar indispensable the indispensable currency for the indispensable and exceptional nation.
This indispensable fact, allows the exceptional nation printing money at will to finance all three war tools, financial strangulations, armies and weapons and endless propaganda and indoctrination to the point where the US real debt the so-called unmet obligations, have reached in 2014 a level of close to 750% of US GDP and rising a debt that will never be amortized.
Why is neoliberalism so successful, expanding like brushfire around the globe? Because neoliberalism addresses the three lowest human denominators power, greed and ego (narcissism). Neoliberalism is boundless capitalism and market fundamentalism ad nauseatum . It is the sledgehammer of submission, a weapon that subdues human consciousness.
In this context, the world situation often looks hopeless and, admittedly, the problems facing mankind are grave. But the situation is also pregnant with the possibility for change, transforming it, revolutionizing it. The capitalist / neoliberal system is the root cause of the present situation and it is the capitalist system that needs to be transformed, to complete its metamorphoses into its natural and necessary progression, socialism. But, this metamorphoses, cannot take place by itself. The capitalists expend immense effort and energy to maintain the system that profits them so much and beggars the vast majority of the world. A change can only happen with the determined struggle of the working people of the world in solidarity with each other, no matter what their nationality, their ethnicity, their gender, their age, or their fortune. And this they have done.
The working people of the world have fought for almost two centuries for their emancipation from the tyranny of capital, from the French Revolution to the European revolutions of 1848, from the Paris Commune to the great, Russian Revolution, that created the Soviet Union. They have fought from China to Laos, from Vietnam to Korea, to follow the Soviet example and have succeeded in defeating the competing empires that tried to crush them. They have fought from Latin America to Africa, from Asia to Europe and they have never given up. The wars of competition between the capitalist powers that have resulted in two devastating world wars and dozens of other wars between themselves or against socialist or resisting peoples and nations, in the past century, have now culminated in a Washington dominated empire, that appears as a giant on the horizon but up close is revealed as made of papier mach that can be blown away by stormy winds, that likes to appear omnipotent, but is instead tired and weak, and fearful of the quickly gathering storm.
One could often think that neoliberalism, that euphemism of the empire for the complete and ruthless exploitation of every living thing and every resource on the planet for private profit, has managed to spread its metastasis to every corner of the globe, and that soon it will kill everything in its way, even life itself. But that would be wrong. It is everywhere poisoning our planet and its people, but it is now everywhere encountering increased resistance, on all the continents of the world. It is despised by all, resisted by many and overcome by some.
The hatred for the Empire is deep and wide. Ask in the Arab world and in Latin America, in Russia and China, and in many countries of Africa. People will pronounce openly what was whispered for decades in South America, before the revolutions began: They are rich because we are poor. And we are poor, because they are rich!
But even in the Empire itself, not everyone is rich. Even the Empire does not belong to its people.
