This is the first update of the three-volume (second edition) Encyclopedia of Television Shows, 1925 through 2010. It is a listing of the 1,612 entertainment and reality series that premiered from January 1, 2011, through December 31, 2016. Programs broadcast prior to these dates can be found in the original volumes. Each program is arranged alphabetically with casts (and characters), story lines, networks, genre and years of broadcast. In addition to a performer index, there is also an appendix that lists past programs from the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 20002010 that are to be found in the three volumes of the second edition.
Many changes have occurred since the earlier book was published, including new cable channels (like Destination America and OWN) as well as cable channels that have gone off the air (like FearNet, HUB and G-4). Those channel programs are included here along with series that premiered on long-enduring networks (such as ABC, CBS, Disney Channel, HBO and the History Channel) as well as Internet streaming channels (such as Amazon and Netflix). It is, in essence, the only printed source for all the programs that have premiered within the covered time frame.
Programs covered in this book are from the following networks: A&E, ABC, ABC Family/Freeform, Adult Swim, Amazon, AMC, BET, Bounce TV, Bravo, Cartoon Network, CBS, Cinemax, Comedy Central, CMT, CW, Destination America, Discovery Channel, Disney Channel, Disney XD, Fox, FX, G-4, GSN, Hallmark Channel, HBO, Here! TV, History Channel, HUB, Hulu, IFC, Investigation Discovery, Lifetime, Logo, MTV, NBC, Netflix, Nickelodeon, OWN, Oxygen, Playboy Channel, Reelz Channel, Showtime, Spike TV, Starz, Syfy, Syn. [Syndicated], TeenNick, TLC, TV Land, USA, Viceland, and WE-TV.

When Zelda is matched with someone who is totally unsuitable for her, she meets Andrew when she files a complaint. The mismatch actually works in their favor as they discover they have an attraction to each other. The situations that result as Andrew and Zelda begin a relationship are chronicled from A to Z.

About a Boy (Comedy; NBC; 20142015). Will Freeman is a songwriter and bachelor living a carefree life in San Francisco due to royalties he earns from a hit song he composed. Some consider Will the ultimate man-child and life is progressing as Will would like until Fiona, a single mother, and her 11-year-old son, Marcus, move next door. Fiona is divorced, a vegan hippie, too controlling of Marcus and not too keen on having Will as her neighbor. Marcus has been raised alone by Fiona and is often teased by the popular kids at school. Life changes for him when he meets Will and the two immediately bond. Marcus now considers him his best friend. The relationship that forms and how it changes both lives are chronicled in a humorous manner. Andy is Wills best friend, a former D.J. who is now married to Annie and the father of four children.
