The world has been abruptly forever changed by COVID-19 and the social and ecological challenges we all now face are enormous and serve as stark reminders that humans are not separate from the natural world - we are a part of it.
We must work together to take care of our neighbours, our communities and our planet, which face uncertain times. The need for action, and the power of the individual to make a difference, has never been greater.
I started Sea Shepherd more than 40 years ago. Since then, we have been on the front line of ocean defence, fighting seemingly impossible battles. Through the passion, professionalism, and courage of our officers and volunteer crews, we have accomplished great things and achieved some incredible victories for the oceans animals.
Sea Shepherd is now the worlds largest non-government navy, working relentlessly, intercepting and arresting illegal vessels, battling whalers, fighting organised crime, identifying viruses from farmed fish stocks, removing fishing gear, and rescuing critically endangered animals. We will not stop fighting to protect our oceans natural inhabitants from harm.
While our focus remains firmly on the marine world, our jungles, savannahs, forests and ice fields are also facing unprecedented challenges. ANIMOSITY provides a fascinating, unsettling look at some of the greatest threats facing our planets wildlife. The imagery might be hard to look at, but it must be seen!
Overall, the message is clear. Our planet is screaming: it needs our help. We have consistently proven that a small group of committed individuals can truly make a difference. It is the nature of the warrior to act - and the time to act is now.

Founder of Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and Co-Founder of Greenpeace

Sir David Attenborough: did you mislead me?
Those stories you told; of smoky jungles filled with exotic animals, of untouched coral reefs overflowing with life, of African plains dominated by millions of migrating animals and awaiting predators. These werent fictitious lands. This was real: this was planet Earth. Or so I thought.
