Dear Patriot,

This year marks Americas 240 th birthday.

While a cause for great celebration, it is also a time for sober reflection.

History tells us the lifespan of great nations tends to be between 200 to 250 years. That puts Americathe country, the idea, the value systemright in the kill zone.

To ensure America reaches her third centennial in 2076, a feat few great nations achieve, Americans of all ages, colors, and creeds will need to answer the call with informed patriotism.

We must take decisive action now.

The situation is grave.

There is a war on America, and the enemies are no longer simply foreign; they are also domestic.

The national media. Teachers. Professors. Celebrities. The politically correct. Those with the loudest megaphones are drowning out truth and forcing America to whisper.

Their goal is simple, but transformative:

• Cripple American confidence.
• Question Americas legitimacy.
• Diminish America on the world stage.
• Deny American exceptionalism.
• Make patriotic pride suspect.
• Create a self-loathing nation, unwilling to fight for itself, or what is right.

Their success cannot be disputed.

Patriotism is in decline, with just one-third of millennials believing the United States is the greatest country in the world. Younger generations are increasingly reluctant to express patriotism, and feel a belief in American exceptionalism is neither inclusive nor in keeping with the concept of equality.

Americas bravest have our back in the air, at sea and on land. But who has Americas back in the culture? In classrooms? On television? In newspapers?

Who guards Americas reputation? Who exposes anti-Americans? Who defends Americas honor? Who makes the case for America? Who teaches our children what it means to be an American? About what it is that makes America special? About all that America has done for the world? And about what would happen were America not the worlds leader?

FLAG is not a think tank. We are a 501(c)(3) battle-tank, seeking to create a patriotic movement that will sweep across the country, effect fundamental generational change, and transform America and the world.

Our battlefield is the cultural battlefieldat home and abroad.

Were committed to stopping the defamation of the American people worldwide, and making American exceptionalism reach the hearts and minds of every child in this country. We understand the value of educating the public on patriotic principles to Americas promise and future. We recognize we can no longer afford to allow Americas cultural enemies to play unopposed. Its why FLAG serves as an educational organization and a rapid-response media team.

We are a voice for America, where there isnt one.

FLAG is new, but the work is a continuation. For the last seven years, I have traveled throughout America and the world, reinvigorating patriotism by educating audiences on American greatness from an outsiders perspective. During the same time, I have aggressively countered anti-American hate and bias at every opportunity. Ive done this writing books, giving speeches, and in the media.

The most precious treasure of any organization is its brain trust. For FLAGs Advisory Council, I have assembled some of the finest conservative, experienced, and tactical minds in the country. Many have held leadership positions inside some of Americas greatest organizations, including The Heritage Foundation, The Leadership Institute, Turning Point USA, and The Centennial Institute. These men all have a proven record of significantly promoting American exceptionalism and identifying and targeting anti-American values on campus, in the media and on the world stage.

We all stand ready to serve, under the new umbrella of FLAG.

But for us to achieve our goals and our vision, and implement the resources and programs required, we need your help.

Your support of FLAG is an investment in our children and an investment in the America they will inherit.

FLAG may have been founded by me. But if it only exists in my lifetime, its mission, and my work, will have failed in its ambition. FLAG must become an institution, recognized worldwide.

We must recommit to those principles that make our nation great. America can only be at her best when she is true to her founding, her values, and her promise.

We did not seek nor did we provoke this war on America. We did not expect nor did we invite this unforgivable assault on American values.

But we will neither run nor hide. Americas time as the worlds punching bag is up.

Its time for a new patriotic and conservative revolution. Its time to forge a new American generation that guarantees the American Dream for another 200 years.

No less than the entire worlds health is at stake.

America must always be the rainbow in our clouds.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Nick Adams is the Founder and Executive Director of FLAG, The Foundation for Liberty and American Greatness (www.flagusa.org). He is an internationally renowned speaker, lecturer, author, and commentator. He is best known for his work in the field of American exceptionalism and is credited with fueling a resurgence in the idea worldwide. He is a Fellow of Colorado Christian University. He has spoken throughout America, Germany, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. He contributes to numerous media organizations and has received several state awards, including honorary citizenship, as well as being recognized for extraordinary ability by the U.S Government. Adams holds degrees in Media and Communications, Government and International Relations, Germanic Studies, and Education from the University of Sydney.
