The Establishment: Where Men are Men and So are Women

When theres actual debate about whether someone with a penis should use the mens room and someone with a vagina should use the ladies room and whether its inappropriate for the person with a penis to use the ladies room and whether someone who disagrees with that person using the ladies room is a misanthrope, then the Establishment has sunk discourse in this country to a new degree of lunacy.

And few things encapsulate as boldly the twisted ideology of Establishment gender politics as the emasculation of American Olympic hero Bruce Jenner.

This man, and make no mistake, a man is exactly what he is (yay, science!), went from the front of a Wheaties cereal box to the front of Vanity Fair magazine because the Establishment decided Jenner was the one person, an American icon, it could use to legitimize yet another one of its off-the-wall creeds to further chip away the traditional values most Americans hold dear.

You know the Jenner story. After years of struggling with his gender identity, in 2015 the decathlon gold medalist from the Games of the XXI Olympiad told the world, both in a heralded ABC interview with Diana Sawyer and a Vanity Fair cover story, that he was a woman trapped in a mans body and was in the process of transitioning from Bruce to Caitlyn. Then in January of 2017, according to Jenners memoir, The Secrets of My Life , he made the transition complete by undergoing gender reassignment surgery. Yep, as the Daily Caller proclaimed, Caitlyn cut it off.

By most accounts, Bruce/Caitlyn is a good person and, to the Establishments horror, a declared Republican who admits to voting for Donald Trump. Egads! So, the issue isnt with someone who clearly had a personal struggle, its with an Establishment that would mainstream this type of thinkingthat sex and gender arent the same thing. The Establishment tells you the individual determines gender. If you dont like being a man or a woman you can identify as something else.

In the fall of 2016, the New Atlantis: A Journal of Technology and Society , published its findings from a comprehensive study they hoped would offer some scientific insight about the mental health issues faced by LGBT populations. (emphasis added)

What the New Atlantis found destroys the Establishment narrative like a MOAB destroys an ISIS tunnel.

In a report entitled Sexuality and Gender: Findings from the Biological, Psychological, and Social Sciences, they concluded, The hypothesis that gender identity is an innate, fixed property of human beings that is independent of biological sexthat a person might be a man trapped in a womans body or a woman trapped in a mans bodyis not supported by scientific evidence.

Boom! (insert mic drop here)

Biology determines gender.

Imagine that. People born with boy parts are boys and people born with girl parts are girls.

You cant argue with science, but try they do.

The Establishment denies the science of sexual identity while simultaneously chastising global warming skeptics as science deniers. They never see the patterns of their own hypocrisy. This is a prevalent theme with the Establishment. They force-feed their views to the masses, and anyone who dares to reject them is subject to name-calling, in this case, called an ignorant transphobe. However, the only ignorance here is with the people who dont know the definition of the word phobic. A person isnt afraid, nay phobic, for believing science and not emotion dictates gender.

Its also not phobic to find it three klicks west of crazy Glamour magazines decision to name Caitlyn Jenner as one of its 2015 Women of the Year. Youd think it rational to surmise that anyone with a twig and berries wouldnt qualify for such an honor, but rational isnt typically the Establishments way.

In 2016, the Williams Institute, a think tank at the UCLA School of Law, issued a report estimating that fewer than 1 percent of American adults identify as transgender in the United States; a minuscule 0.6 percent

0.6 percent.

Yet, the Establishment pushes its ideology on the masses as though theyre the norm. It demands the rest of us, which is most of us, kowtow to accommodate their view. Thats why you have a mega-retailer like Target instituting a policy that allows transgender people to use whichever restroom matches their gender identity and alienating families by effectively saying, Hey, go ahead, use whichever restroom matches the gender with which you identify. Sure, Chester, you can use the ladies room, no problem!

Protest the policy, the Establishment eviscerates you. A parent concerned their daughter might end up in a bathroom with a man pretending to identify as a woman? Theyre puritanical and intolerant! Never mind the reports of peeping Toms taking pictures or shooting video inside Target bathrooms and fitting rooms.

But what the Establishment never prepares for is the mettle of real Americans. You saw it with the election of Donald Trump. People revolted against the Establishment by electing him president, and they revolted against the Target bathroom policy by boycotting the store chain. The publically traded companys stock value took a yuge hit. Target, which has about 1,800 stores, later pledged to spend $20 million to put private bathrooms in the 300 stores that didnt already have them.

Despite the consequences, the Establishment never ends its quest to make transgenderism a mainstream thing. It hates Americas traditional values, and those who dare to uphold them are worthy of destruction. Dont believe it? Ask North Carolina.

In early 2016, the state passed House Bill 2, more commonly known as HB2, which put clear and concise limits on single-sex, multiple occupancy bathroom and changing facilities in schools and public agencies. The bill required people using multiple-occupancy facilities like school bathrooms, locker rooms, dressing rooms, and so forth to match the biological sex listed on their birth certificate. What?! Well, thats just prosaic! Try as the Establishment may to convince us otherwise, no parent wants their little girl in a bathroom with a grown man. And certainly, no woman wants to be in a locker room under the watchful eye of Generalissimo Weenis.

In North Carolina, public safety and privacy still matter to most people, unless youre the Establishment, then forcing a minority position matters more. A policy that protects kids? Seek and destroy. The Establishment launched an onslaught of hate at North Carolina. The talking heads and headlines said it all. If you believed them, the state was populated by nothing but transphobes, homophobes, and close-minded rubes.

What the Establishment failed to tell most people was the bill did provide for the accommodation of the transgendered. HB2 specifically stated, Nothing in this section shall prohibit local boards of education from providing accommodations such as single occupancy bathroom or changing facilities or controlled use of faculty facilities upon a request due to special circumstances. Most people never knew that because the Establishment banks on most people never actually reading a bill or doing their own research. Instead it preys on emotion. The lemmings fall for it every time.
