I was wrong to believe that I wasthe only one with the idea. It just happened to be the first whopublished online. Who knows, perhaps, in this big world, are morestories with our idea. It was a crazy coincidence. Indeed, greatminds think alike. Apologize.

On this big blue planet there is a littlegirl with pink hair. She lives in a big house with many servantsbecause her parents are rich people. The girl s name is Beatrice. Well, like everymorning she woke up cranky. She wanted that in every morning, notat night, someone to read a story with her favorite characterMulticolor Pony. Since there was no family member home, onlyservants, Beatrice asks Bobby, the young gardener, to read a storythat would make her happy. But Bobby refuses. He doesn't likestories, especially kids stories. Even so, Beatrice insists: Ifyou don't want to tell me a story, I will say to my father that youcut flowers and sold them to the neighbors. Bobby's face turns redand accepts Beatrices proposal. He takes her in his arms and bothgo in the library.

Beatrice shows him which book totake. It's a golden hardcover edition with the title The Multicolor Ponyand the Happy Land . Sitting on sofa, with Beatrice on his right leg, Bobbybegins to read:

A Long, long time ago, there wasa Multicolor Pony. She loved to fly through the blue, white andfluffy clouds. As flying through the clouds and singing:

I'm a Multicolor Pony

that flies through theclouds

I'm a Multicolor Pony

happy to fly for life

a black body, hundreds timesbigger than Multicolor Pony, with big hands, sharp nails and redeyes appeared and said I'm Big Evil and I came to throw you intothe volcano from the Center of the Earth! Multicolor Pony shockedstarted to cry and screamed: Aaahhh! Oh, no! OH, NO! Then BigEvil, with his big fingers and sharp nails, caught MulticolorPonys tail and began to spin her until her eyes were spinning aswell (some colors from Multicolor Ponys skin flew in the air andpainted only the white clouds). After a few hours of spinning, BigEvil threw Multicolor Pony in the volcano from the Center of theEarth. Multicolor Pony died in that volcano. She burnedalive.

A few days later

Well, in this morning Beatrice woke up cranky too.This time she wanted her Father to read a story about her favoritecharacter Multicolor Pony. But Father refuses. He doesn't havetime. Even so, Beatrice insists: If you don't want to tell me astory, I will say to my mother that you kissed our housemaid.Father's face turns red and accepts his daughters proposal. Hetakes Beatrice in his arms and both go in the library.

Beatrice shows him which book totake. It's a golden hardcover edition with the title The Multicolor Ponyand the Happy Land . Sitting on sofa, with Beatrice on his left leg, Fatherbegins to read the second story:

A Long, long time ago there was aMulticolor Pony. She loved to fly through the blue, white andfluffy clouds. As flying through the clouds and singing:

I'm a Multicolor Pony

that flies through theclouds

I'm a Multicolor Pony

happy to fly for life

Multicolor Pony heard a loudshout: Help! HELP! Multicolor Pony lifted into the air and flewtowards the shout. She arrived at the coldest lake in the world. Inthe lake was a boy who could not swim, and the poor boy was almostdrowned. Multicolor Pony gave a helping hand. Multicolor Ponycaught the boy with her mouth, and threw him on the shore. Then anarrow came out from a thicket, and hit Multicolor Pony straight inthe heart. Multicolor Pony fell into the cold lake. Multicolor Ponydied in that cold lake. She drowned.

After a few years

Beatrice is no longer among the livingones. She had one daughter and that daughter had a child and thechild has a child. Child's name is Joana the Pink because she, likethe rest of the girls from the family, has a pink hair and wearspink dresses.

Joana the Pink is a little grumpygirl, but with very different habits. She wants that in each day,at five a clock, no less no more, someone to read a story. I don'tknow how this happened but today she has a bad luck. There is noone home. Parents are on a trip in Africa and servants have the dayoff. So Joana the Pink decides to choose by herself one story toread it. She begins to search in the library a suitable book, butshe doesnt find one. At least to like the cover. Disappointedsays: There are so many books in the library, but there isn't asingle one that I can read. They are thick and don't have pictures.I wish to have a book with stories for kids, with few pages and alot of pictures.

In the next second, Joana the Pinkhears a bang. It is coming from the basement. Joana the Pink goesto the basements door and opens it. Descends the stairs and entersthe first room, but it's empty. Then the same bang and the samefaint sound are heard again. They come from the second room, theleft wall.

Joana the Pink approaches thewall. After a few seconds, in the wall appears a small hole, butbig enough to put her little finger in it. The hole begins to growlike vortex or whirl. Now is much bigger. Big enough to put herhead in it. Joana the Pink sees a golden object. From the hole agolden book with few pages falls on the floor.

Joana the Pink takes the book andblows the dust, then, in her mind, reads: The Multicolor Pony and the HappyLand . Whileopening the book, a pink paper falls down on the floor. Joana takesthe book, the pink paper and goes in the library.

Sitting on sofa, she begins toread:

To future readers,

I received this book on mybirthday. On the gift was written: The Pink Fairy, address: ThePink World. Seeing from whom I received it, fearing of notdamaging it, as I did with other gifts, I left my Father to openit. After a few weeks, I wanted someone to read me a story from thebook. I don't know why, but persons I chose to read didn't want.They refused me. But I insisted until I convinced them. In thelibrary Bobby, the young gardener, began to read the first story,but he changed the ending, detailing a scene where the maincharacter died burned alive in a volcano. After this scene, I wentto my Father, but he didn't have time. Therefore, as Bobby didbefore, Father changed the end. This time my favorite character gota nasty death. She drowned. As revenge, Bobby and Father invented adifferent, ugly ending, so I could never ask to read again. Sincethen, I refused to reopen the book and decided to hideit.
