This complete checklist is adapted from Clements (2007) as edited on the Burung Nusantara website ) for further details.
The first column numbers the birds 1-1,605.
Species in bold are featured in the illustrated section; there are 915 of those.
(E) is short for Endemic and is used for a species found in no other country in the world but Indonesia; there are 380 of those.
Threat is short for Threatened Status and follows the conventional categories as described in details in How to Use This Book. There are 340 threatened or near-threatened species.
