Bikram Grewal a publisher by profession has written several best-selling - photo 1

Bikram Grewal, a publisher by profession, has written several best-selling guides to Indian birds. He has written more than twenty other books on various subjects, and has a special interest in the history of Indian ornithology. He divides his time between Delhi and his farm in the Himalayan foothills.

Bill Harvey worked with the British Council in the UK, Asia and Africa for 30 years. He has lived in the region for nearly 10 years. His book on the birds of Bangladesh was an instant best seller. He writes widely on birds and conservation matters in scientific journals and popular magazines and newspapers. He now lives in Delhi where he is closely associated with the Northern India Bird Network, which he helped establish.

Otto Pfister has worked for the Swiss Development Cooperation and spent over 12 years in the Indian subcontinent where he devoted most of his free time to wildlife photography. His work has appeared in various international publications and he is currently completing a book on the Birds and Mammals of Ladakh. He now lives in Colombia when not travelling the world photographing wildlife.
