ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Marjorie Eberts and Margaret Gisler have been writing professionally for ten years. They are prolific free-lance authors with over forty books in print. Their writing is usually in the field of education. The two authors have written textbooks, beginning readers, and study skills books for schoolchildren. They have also written a speech book for young adults and three volumes on the history of an army facility.
Besides writing books, the two authors have a syndicated education column, "Dear Teacher," which appears in newspapers throughout the country. The column gives parents advice on how to guide their children successfully through school. Eberts and Gisler also give advice on educational issues to parents with a weekly television spot.
Eberts is a graduate of Stanford University, and Gisler is a graduate of Ball State and Butler Universities. Both received their specialist degrees in education from Butler University. The two authors are also former teachers with over twenty years of teaching experience between them. Eberts is married and the mother of two children. Gisler is married and the mother of four children.
