About the Authors
Marjorie Eberts has written more than sixty books. This is her eighteenth VGM career book and her third book on careers associated with computers. She also has a syndicated newspaper column, "Dear Teacher," which appears in newspapers throughout the country. This is Rachel Kelsey's first career book. She has extensive experience with computers, especially in word processing and the construction of spreadsheets, and has written several software programs. Both Eberts and Kelsey are graduates of Stanford University.
Writing this book was a special pleasure for the authors, as it gave them the opportunity to spend hours online every day surfing the Net. They have visited every Web site mentioned in this book as well as many of the links to other sites. Almost everyone who was interviewed for this book was contacted by e-mail and responded to the authors' questions by e-mail. In addition, a substantial portion of the research for this book was done on the Internet. The authors are truly cybersurfers.
