Preface

This book is inspired by ideas of Klaus Schwab about the Fourth Industrial evolution and represents an academic attempt to evaluate its impact on business strategy, marketing, management, sustainability innovation, and various kinds of activities of international companies. The depth and dynamism of changes in the global economy and business in direction to singularity have considerably increased during the pandemic of COVID-19. This book written by a big group of Russian and international researchers from different Universities and research centers represent the views and ideas of how in a changing global digital environment international firms seek to adopt to the challenges and opportunities posed by a rapidly transforming digital world. Through the lens of macro and microanalysis this book provides European and Russian case studies connected with management and business transformation in digital market as well digital aspects of oil and gas, retail, hotel, FMCG and agri-business.
