So, you have found the world of freelance writing, and you think that it might be something you would like to do. Otherwise, why would you have purchased and began to read this book, right? You are in luck, because in a few very simple steps, I will tell you how to go about becoming a freelance writer. It's fairly simple to do. The most difficult part is figuring out where you need to start, and that is why I am here.

Of course, these days, there a lot more people who are following their artistic dreams. This is because it has become easier than ever to do so in this time of modern technology. Don't be fooled into thinking that it is only musicians and artists who are getting more freedom, however. Writers, also, have been given more freedom to do what they enjoy doing - which, of course, is writing. If you have a true passion for writing, or a strong desire to have your words be read by the general public, you have come to the right place.

Almost anyone can become a freelance writer, and these writers can work everywhere. For today's purposes, however, we are going to show you how to do your freelance writing at home, through the Internet. As long as you are able to spell, use a computer, and finagle your way through the worldwide web, you will be able to do everything I teach you today. I am here to not only to teach you how to become a freelance writer, but also to explain the different types of freelance writing there are out there right now. Hopefully, any questions you may currently have will be answered by the time you have finished reading this.

This step is fairly simple, and odds are that you already have everything you need to get started. If you don't, these materials are all fairly inexpensive. That is, besides the computer, which is the one thing I am sure, at least, you already own.

You begin with a computer and a reliable internet connection. Any computer will do - a laptop, a desk top - it doesn't matter. Now, what do I mean by a reliable internet connection? I mean a connection that you own, and that you know will not go out on you, that you can access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This doesn't mean a Wi-Fi hotspot that you can sometimes connect to and sometimes can't. This also doesn't mean an extremely slow connection, as this will cause the amount of time it takes you to do a certain task a lot longer, and thus, drop your productivity level. I suggest some type of DSL or other high-speed connection. It shouldn't cost you more than $60 a month, and if you work hard, you will make that, and much more, in a single month of freelance writing work.
