About the Authors
Carolynn A. Lindeman (B.M., Oberlin College, DMA, Stanford University) is Professor of Music Emerita at San Francisco State University and past president of MENC: The National Association for Music Education. Before college teaching, she taught and coordinated elementary classroom music programs.
