I would like to thank my Mom and Dad for always supporting my medical marijuana use and growing; all of my friends who put up with me on a regular basis, especially Paul Pipe, Draygun, and Calum. Special thanks to NYPD and T. Dubya, for getting me started with my first garden and getting me involved with medical marijuana, plus always being great mentors and friends.

My name is Mediman, and I was born with a rare genetic disease (1 case in 60,000) called Wilsons. Wilsons disease gives you genes in your liver that will not allow the body to remove copper, which is in everything you eat and drink. There are two types of Wilsons disease, neuro and gastro; I have both, but the neurological side is more prominent. I grew up unaware that I was suffering from this disease, but I was well aware that my brain did not run the same as everyone elses. I was extremely hyperactive and very disorganized, with a fast pace of thought that resulted in me being very misunderstood by my peers and family. A normal brain is designed to run two to three thoughts at a time, at a normal pace. A neuro Wilsons brain is designed to run seven to eight thoughts at a time, at a high pace, fueled by the copper that is being deposited in the brain rather than expelled out of the body. I took in so much information at a high speed that as a child I would speak with my own abbreviated language; most of the time people did not understand it, and judged me accordingly.

When I was fourteen, I smoked marijuana for the first time; the effects were overwhelming. Smoking marijuana allowed me to collect my thoughts and keep them organized at a normal pace. I continued to smoke it every day, which turned me into a completely different personmy friends and family thought I just finally started to show maturity, and did not know I was using marijuana to keep things under control. By the time I was eighteen, I started to have physical health problems with my liver, which was failing by the time I was twenty-two. I spent over two years being tested, over and over again, from doctor to doctor, until I was finally diagnosed with Wilsons disease. By this time, I had copper poisoning all over my body and in my bloodstream, and the removal process would take decades. I would not be able to survive this process, leaving me what they deemed terminally ill. I became a legalized medical marijuana user a few years after that by my government and started to grow and use my own supply. My main concern was that I was using the purest and healthiest marijuana I could grow, which I believe was the key to surviving six years of severe metal poisoning, poisoning which made me vomit to the point of dry heaving all day, every day. Eventually, after a good eight years of being seriously ill, I survived enough copper removal to bring me to non-life-threatening levels. Without the consistent, pure, high-grade everyday use of the medical marijuana I was growing and using, I would not have been able to survive on my own.

Before I was diagnosed with Wilsons disease, I was a technical specialist for a major computer networking and cable manufacturer. Part of my job was to design as many new products as possible for the industry, writing my own owners manuals for each product. In the 1990s, explaining how to use computer products and install them correctly without any problems was very difficult, but I would eliminate as many instructions as possible and explain the process very directly, removing unnecessary information that might confuse or overwhelm a general user. This is what I have done when creating this growing system. I have eliminated the most common problems people have when trying to learn how to grow and use marijuana, and have developed the most fail-proof method of growing possible: anyone in the world could easily understand and execute this process, leaving them with clean, pure, very high-grade marijuana first time out. In addition, I show how to keep growers and their homes as safe as possible.
