PREFACE

Congratulations! Youve arrived at the AP Environmental Science 5-Step Program. Your initiative to keep up with ever-changing environmental advancements and issues says you want to focus your attention on doing well in college-level biology, chemistry, ecology, chemical engineering, forestry, marine science, petroleum engineering, and agriculture classes among others. Environmental science is very much a multidisciplinary science.

The AP Environmental Science Exam, though extensive, is worth studying for and taking for college credit as well as to augment knowledge gaps in related subjects such as earth science.

This book can be used in addition to your regular environmental science book. Three different study programs are presented to match your available time before the test and go with different studying styles.

Now get started, follow the 5 Steps, and take the diagnostic and practice exams. Your scores will give you an idea of your strengths and weak spots. The Rapid Reviews and sample questions throughout will further familiarize you with what to expect on exam day. Good Luck!
