ABOUT THE AUTHOR
CAROL ANN GILLESPIE teaches Advanced Placement Human Geography and is the author of several books on geography. She has served as a reader, leader, and question writer for Advanced Placement Human Geography since the inaugural reading in 2001. The mother of three grown sons and grandmother of one granddaughter, she and her husband make their home in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. Dr. Gillespie spends most of her free time writing, cycling, and hiking in West Virginia.
