This book contains 20 yoga poses and sequences for little kids, each with a purpose tied to a developmental skill or benefit. You can start at the beginning of the book or skip around until you land on your favorite page. Read everything on the page or just look at the name of the pose and illustration. Young children love repetition and might want to practice the same poses multiple times before trying new ones. Be prepared for giggles, animal noises, and sweet moments of stillness! This is meant to be interactive and fun for children and adults alike.
Imagine you have a flower in one hand
and a candle in the other.
Inhale to smell the beautiful flower.
Exhale to blow out the candle flame.
Repeat before practicing the yoga poses.
Take a seat, with legs crossed in front of you.
Place one hand on the ground at your side.
