DESCRIPTION

A score of General Intelligence Quotient (IQ.) Derived from a statistical number that indicates similar and relative capabilities that can be used to obtain data on the academic and practical knowledge. Everyone has hundreds of specific mental abilities. Some of these capabilities can be accurately measured. Some of these actions can be reliable predictors of academic achievements of an individual.

THE IQ. It is expressed numerically and results from the following formula:

MENTAL AGE / X100 CHRONOLOGICAL AGE

A Q.I. Equal to 100 will be revealing a normal intelligence; Q.I above 100 indicates a higher intelligence than average; Q.I below 100 indicates a below average intelligence.

Although an IQ test measure only some of the mental capacities of a human being, these capabilities are used as a standard because they are well known and allow to correlate many other human capacities. The highest scoring in a capacity measures both the higher expected that scores the capabilities that were not analyzed since they are more or less simultaneous capabilities.

This e-book will tell you everything you need to know about IQ. Get Start into your beginner guide and learn more about your brain capacity.

INTRODUCTION

The best reason to know the score of your IQ is to allow independent monitoring of its probable academic potential. If your score is high, you can use this knowledge to try to achieve a higher degree of education.

Only a Scientific Profile Intelligence Full Staff, will give you much more detail the full scope and range of their mental abilities.

It is very important to remember that an IQ test does not measure most types of human capabilities as musical talent, artistic talent, emotional stability, physical coordination, or spiritual level.

A higher IQ score is no guarantee that an individual will achieve happiness, maintain sanity, or get spiritual growth.

A lower IQ score does not mean that a person will be financial, moral and emotionally failed. There are individuals with high IQ in all fields of human activity. On the other hand, the groups traditionally considered "successful" as doctors, politicians, etc. are numerous individuals who would obtain IQ just normal or even tolerable.

Almost all ordinary human tasks require an individual to get a score of about 50 (75% of all people have a higher IQ).

However, a score of 50 would indicate that that individual would find only educational success with special teaching methods. It should be noted that people with IQs between 50 and 75 can ordinarily get a driving license, can succeed in 70% of all jobs, and can be quite prosperous lives.

History is full of stories of people with limited intellectual capacity which could be noted in various fields of social life.

It is also true that the worst moments of human history should be brilliant individuals whose actions have had a detrimental effect on other people. No test can measure all human intellectual capacity.

CHAPTER I: WHAT IS INTELLIGENCE QUOTIENT?

Intelligence Quotient or IQ is a term given to a human intelligence measurement technique based on specific test results that measure the cognitive performance of each person and compare their results with people of the same age. It is believed that IQ tests have emerged in China, around the fifth century, but the first test that gained the attention of science in the West has been created in the early twentieth century by the French psychologist Alfred Binet, being applied in schools to identify students who had learning difficulties. Shortly after that, the German psychologist William Stern created the IQ expression, calculating the mental age and chronological age of the individuals to obtain a result equivalent to their intellectual capacity according to their age. This test was only enhanced by the hands of an American psychologist named David Wechsler, who decided to take the principles of William Stern testing to a new level and transform the Intelligence Quotient test in a test only to measure the mental capacity of adults.

It is important to note that there is a universal and general intelligence, nor is it what the IQ test tries to find and display. What IQ analysis is a set of mental, logical, mathematical and verbal skills to the context of public and globalized every day? Knowing this, we also know that an individual considered gifted will not necessarily be considered intelligent in the perspective of a group of aboriginal Indians, for example. Before examining the IQ of an individual, it is necessary that it has at least culture so you can pass the IQ test is based on the knowledge acquired through their tribe. IQ tests also analyze the Logical Reasoning of individuals and how to flow your reading, writing and solving problems, not important only for our educational, critical and argumentative development. But helping us develop the capacity building, interpretation, and explanation the most adverse situations, whether at school, in daily situations or problems in relationships and the business environment. Furthermore, using the logical reasoning will also improve our mental health since it puts our neurons to work and decreases the risk of loss of memory, for example.

Q.I. Means Intelligence Quotient, and refers to a standardized measure of the cognitive ability of an individual scientifically stipulated, from tests carried out in the twentieth century, around 1905.

Alfred Binet and Theodore Simon were the scholars responsible for creating the Binet-Simon scale, with the aim of discovering the intellectual average human being, and therefore assist students who had learning difficulties from the identification of low test results proposal.

The level of Intelligence Quotient - Q.I. a person is determined by a test that contains random questions ranging from mathematical questions, logical reasoning to vocabulary items. According to the scoring number you can complete different intelligence subcategories.

New studies proposed by Davis Wechsler, gave rise to the following classification, which applies specifically to adults:

IQ above 130: giftedness

120-129: higher intelligence

110-119: above average intelligence

90-109: average intelligence

80-89: slight dulling

66-79: borderline

51-65: slight weakness

36-50: moderate weakness

20-35: severe weakness

IQ below 20: profound weakness

There are inferences that 99.5% of people have Q.I. normal and only 0.5% suffer some confinement in mental capacity or are considered geniuses.

CHAPTER II: Types of Intelligence

The fact that you do better in human than in exact or vice versa does not determine that you are smarter than others, but different, according to Howard Gardner - a well-known psychologist to develop the theory of multiple bits of intelligence.

These studies found that the human being has a total of seven types of intelligence, some more prevalent than others, each responsible for specific skills.

Gardner left his substantial contribution to the individual's self-awareness, providing relevant information about yourself to assist you in choosing the most compatible activities with their profile.

Check out the following definition of the seven types of intelligence.

Linguistic intelligence

People with this type of intelligence usually perform activities in the humanities because of its ease in handling writing and the ability of expression and oratory. Sensitivity to understand the other's point of view is one of its great strengths. This intelligence is stimulated by the left brain.
