About the Authors
Robert Kao is one well-rounded, experienced mobile architect and professional. His ability to translate his technical knowledge and communicate with users of all types led him to cowrite BlackBerry For Dummies (For Dummies, 2011). He started out as a BlackBerry developer for various financial firms in New York City. Robert is the founder and current CEO of SmrtGuard, a mobile security start-up. A graduate of Columbia University with a computer engineering degree, he currently lives in South Brunswick, New Jersey.
Dante Sarigumba is a veteran software developer and coauthor of several BlackBerry-related For Dummies books. He has been developing mobile applications since 2003, starting with a BlackBerry application. His mobile applications are used by major investment banks and hedge funds in New York City. Dante lives in South Brunswick, New Jersey, with mobile developer Rosemarie and their two children, Dean and Drew.
