In fact all relevant standards are dealt with: TETRA, DECT, PHS, GSM, IS-95, PDC, CDPD, IEEE 802.11, and HYPERLAN. It demonstrates how to link budget calculations, determine the impact of mobility signalling on the network signalling load, design handover procedures and plan for cellular and capacity increases.
