FOREWORD

(or How I Came toWrite This Book)

(or How You Cameto Read This Book)

All I wanted was a list. Just alittle bitty list of Perry Mason episodes. When I began watching theshows reruns in the mid-1980s, I thought it would be fun to keep track ofwhich episodes Id seen and which ones I hadnt. A list would help me dothat. Classic TVshows from the fifties and sixties were becoming increasingly popular again, thanks to syndicated and cable channel reruns, and several of the more popularones had books devoted to them. But all I could find for
