Notes
The aim in this manual has been to render the pronunciation of the Latin of the Church's prayers in such a way that it can be easily learned by a typical English speaker, and to render a word-by-word translation of the Latin so that the person praying in Latin would understand the words of their prayer. My hope and prayer is that all those who wish to pray in the Official Language of the Church would be able to do so. Louis Pizzuti, Sept 2, 2006

The Apostle's Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty.

From thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
