Introduction

Murders made to look like suicides and accidents. Classified government documents fallen into the wrong hands. Stolen diaries, some of them burned and shredded for fear of what, one day, they might reveal. Powerful people with dangerous agendas. Famous faces. The Feds prowling around. Hollywood conspiracies. CIA agents keeping watch. Frightened people with secrets to hide. Wild sex. Drugs. Crazy parties and flowing booze. And, an incredible story of UFOs, aliens, Roswell, Area 51, Flying Saucers, and the death of a beautiful but tragically scarred icon. Her name was Marilyn Monroe.

You think all of this is just the outline for a big-bucks movie? Its not. Its much, much more. And youre about to become swamped in it.

1962: In January, among other things, the Beatles failed to grab a much-wanted record deal from Decca Records. One month later, NASA astronaut John Glenn became the first American to orbit the Earth. March saw the birth of Taco Bell. In April West Side Story won ten Oscars at the 34 th Academy Awards. As for May, that was the month in which Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann was rightly hung by the neck until he was dead. Then, in June, JFK gave the commencement address at Yale University. As for July, thats when Wal-Mart came into existence. September saw a deadly typhoon kill 130 people in Hong Kong. Fans of James Bond, 007 may like to know that the first Bond movie hit cinemas in October. The late Sean Connery played the assassin/secret-agent. November was one of the tensest months in U.S. history: the Cuban Missile Crisis almost brought the world to destruction by nuclear war. In quick time, and as a result of the tumultuous events of the previous month, the U.K. purchased an arsenal filled with Polaris missiles from the United States. Just in case Russia tried to do something crazy.

Youll note I omitted one particular month: August. Theres a reason for that. Something happened on the 4 th of the month that shocked people everywhere. Marilyn Monroes life was snuffed out. The definitive blond bombshell was no more. It didnt take long, however, before rumors began to circulate to the effect that Marilyn had not committed suicide. A mystery was born. Its still with us. And its getting stranger. Out of this world, I might justifiably say.

Chapter 1: From Hollywood to Death

Life for Marilyn Monroe began in the Los Angeles County Hospital, California on June 1, 1926 as Norma Jeane Mortenson. Two decades later she married James Edward Dougherty, a police officer. The marriage was over after four years. Marilyn moved on and had an incredible career in modeling and acting. That career lasted for just a little more than a decade-and-a-half. Contracts with Twentieth Century Fox and Columbia Pictures guaranteed dollars upon dollars for Marilyn. Among the many movies she made were Clash by Night , Asphalt Jungle , and Some Like it Hot . Marilyn, with a powerful desire to make it big-time, was certain to move among the famous and powerful. She did. She married New York Yankees baseball legend, Joe DiMaggio on January 14, 1954. They didnt last. The pair was married for only 274 days.

Two years later, Marilyn married renowned playwright, Arthur Miller. That marriage was destined not to continue, either. By 1961 Marilyn was single again. Rumors of secret-affairs circulated during both marriages. Marilyns relationships with - among others - actor Marlon Brando, comedian Milton Berle, Hollywood director Elia Kazan, and Frank Sinatra, became a combined, legendary part of the movie world, but failed to last, too.

Then, there were the Kennedy brothers, John and Robert: The President of the United States and the Attorney General. As for RFK, hes believed to have first met Marilyn on February 2, 1962. The location was the house of actor Peter Lawford and his wife, Patricia. The connection? Patricia was the sister of John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy and Senator Edward Kennedy. Now, onto JFK and Marilyn.

The clock ticks and dangerously fast

Journalist Olivia B. Waxman, having dug into the work of biographer Donald Spoto, said: Monroe and JFK met four times between October 1961 and August 1962. Their only sexual encounter is believed to have taken place two months before the concert in a bedroom at Bing Crosbys house on Mar. 24, 1962, her masseur Ralph Roberts has said. Almost inevitably, rumors suggested that JFK and Marilyn had more close encounters.

As for Marilyns death at home on the night of August 4, 1962, for some it was nothing but a sad case of suicide, or a call for help that failed; an incident caused by a deadly mixture of barbiturates and alcohol. Dr. Howard Markel, for the PBS News Hour , said that on her final day on Earth, Marilyn, lolled about her home in a drug and alcohol-fueled haze. Her publicist Patricia Newcomb, her housekeeper Eunice Murray, a photographer named Lawrence Schiller, and her psychiatrist Ralph Greenson were also present, off and on, for most of that day.

Prior to exiting for the evening, Dr. Greenson inquired of Murray if Marilyn had someone with her, in the home to keep a watch on her. Certainly, Marilyn was heard at around 8:00 p.m., but by the early hours of the 5 th Marilyn was quiet. Deadly so. No-one was responding inside from Marilyns locked bedroom. She was gone. Forever. Her story, however, was not.

How to Kill to Order

In the years and decades that have rolled by since 1962, it has been suggested Marilyns death was not a case of suicide, or a call of help that went wrong. Instead, a planned, orchestrated operation was behind it all; Marilyns death was secretly provoked by what she knew about certain U.S. government secrets. Top secrets, even, and all within the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Robert M. Collins, a former U.S. Air Force Intelligence Officer with a background in aircraft avionics systems, ground communications, and engineering and engineering physics totaling over 22 years says, incredibly: The suggestion that somehow the CIA was involved in a domestic murder of an American citizen is not too far-fetched when considering the past abuses that came out of the agency.
