This is to thank my Lord God for bringing me to where I am today.

I love all who love me.

Those who search will surely find me.

I have riches and honor,

As well as enduring wealth and Justice.

My gifts are better than gold, even the purest gold, my wages better than sterling silver!

I walk in righteousness,

In paths of justice.

Those who love me inherit wealth.

I will fill their treasuries.

The Lord formed me from the beginning,

Before he created anything else.

I was appointed in ages past,

At the very first, before the earth began.

I was born before the oceans were created,

Before the springs bubbled forth their waters.

Before the mountains were formed,

Before the hills, I was bornbefore he had made the earth and fields and the first handfuls of soil.

I was there when he established the heavens,

When he drew the horizon on the oceans.

I was there when he set the clouds above,

When he established springs deep in the earth.

I was there when he set the limits of the seas,

So they would not spread deep in the earth.

I was there when he set the limits of the seas,

So they would not spread beyond their boundaries.

And when he marked off the earths foundations,

I was the architect at his side.

I was his constant delight,

Rejoicing always in his presence.

And how happy I was with the world he created;

How I rejoiced with the human family.

And so, my children, listen to me,

For all who follow my ways are joyful.

Listen to my instructions and be wise.

Dont ignore it.

Joyful are those who listen to me,

Watching for me daily at my gates, waiting for me outside my home.

For whoever finds me finds life and receives favor from the Lord.

But those who miss me injure themselves.

All who hate me love death.

Proverbs 8:17

I am looking at where God brought me from, and all I can say is, wow . I am the woman I am today because of the tests I went through yesterday. I am now comfortable and ready to share what I have learned throughout the years in the world.

This is my story. This is some of what I have been through.

Letter to My Dear Mother

Dear Mama,

What a sacrifice you made to raise me. Thank you, Mom! First of all this letter is not meant to hurt you or upset you. I am a mother of three beautiful children, and now I know exactly how you felt, I believe. I have learned a lot from you and for that I am thankful. I hope that I will not make the same mistakes in my life.

I am so sorry to have messed up your life. I did not ask to come into this world; you brought me here. Im sorry if I have caused you any shame. I am sorry that you love my sister more. I cannot apologize for loving you as my mother. I was left alone most of the time in my life in this cold world to raise myself, struggle, and fight.

I was raped, beaten, abused, mistreated, neglected, and I was also homeless, Mama. I didnt know how to love myself, so anything or anyone who says to me that they love me, I cling to. I have three beautiful children now, but there are times that I still long for a mother. I had children hoping that it would fill the void of you, and in return I just wanted to be loved by you. I am writing you knowing that this letter will never get to you because I know how busy you are. I am not mad at you from all the counseling that I went through.

I now understand there is nothing wrong with me, and I can be loved. I learned to love me, Mama. I am able to receive love and also give it with no guilt. I wish you the best of luck in your life. May the blessings of the Lord be upon you, always. I pray for you just like when I was a little girl. Remember I used to look at the stars at night and pray for all the animals. I still look at the stars at night, praying that they are shining down on you.

All I wanted was a mother. I am so sorry that I asked so much of you. But its time to set myself free of all this pain and hurtand you, Mama. Its time to say good-bye.
