OUR REGULAR
READERS RAVE!
I just really wanted to say thank you! I absolutely love your books. I have like 10 of them and I just bought your newest one. For a trivia buff like me, they are fantastic! Thank you again. I cant wait for the next installment.
Ashley
I cant remember the very first Bathroom Reader I read, but when I read it, I knew instantly that I was onto something good. Since that day, Ive acquired all the annual editions. They are great! Keep it up!
Joe P.
I absolutely love your books! Theyre always entertaining. Thanks to them, Im always full of intriguing trivia (much to some of my colleagues dismay).
Christian B.
I got my first Bathroom Reader for Fathers Day from my kids and loved it. Now I have more than 25. I read them over and over again. My evening relaxation is to read one for an hour before bed.
Carl S.
For years I tried to find trivia books, and then when you started producing Uncle Johns Bathroom Readers, I hit the trivia gold mine. Keep up the good work!
Don L.
Thanks, Uncle John. Your books are the only way I can get my dad to read.
Steven S.
My first BR was the second Bathroom Readerand I was hooked. I just recently moved, and one of the first boxes I opened (after the box with the bathroom necessities) was the one with the Bathroom Readers.

THE OTHER WINSTON CHURCHILL
In the 1890s, future British prime minister Winston Churchill became aware of an American novelist who was also named Winston Churchill. The two began a correspondence, and in one letter the British Churchill suggested to the American, Why dont you go into politics? I aim to be Prime Minister of England; it would be a great lark if you were president of the United States at the same time. The American Churchill did go into politics. He was elected to the New Hampshire legislature in 1903 and 1905, and ran for governor of the state in 1912, but lost.
When the British Churchill visited Boston in 1901, Mr. Winston Churchill was the first to welcome me. He entertained me at a banquetand we made each other complimentary speeches, the future prime minister recounted in 1930. Some confusion, however persisted; all my mails were sent to his address and the bill for the dinner came to me. I need not say that both these errors were speedily redressed.
