These cards were written with the assumption that you already know enough Spanish to get by (and pronounce the words on the card). After all, this is a slang deck, and slang tends to be the last thing you learn after getting down all the basic (and relatively useless) sayings, like I live in the red house, and Yes, I like the library very much, thank you. These cards are designed to take your Spanish to the next level. So if youre looking for a grammar lesson, youre in the wrong spot. But if you want to learn the vocab to tell your friend that he has a tiny dick or to get rid of the douchebag hitting on you in the bar, then study up. Sometimes the Spanish is given with alternatives (gordo/a, tu/s) to account for gender or plural differences. This isnt a grammar book and youre not an idiot, so we expect that youll be able to figure it out without any more explanation. Since Spanish is a widely spoken language and slang tends to be pretty region-specific, most of the slang included in this deck was chosen because its easily understood in any Spanish speaking country. The best language teacher, however, will always be immersion. Rearrange the syllables and you get the word for tipsy, choborra. Scrambling letters makes things cutesy and adds a wink-wink connotation, in this case conveying more affection and less judgment than borracho. Its not more or less drunk, its just less pathetic.

Careful with this one. In Latin America, binge drinking is seen as more pathetic or self-destructive than social or funny, and having one too many isnt usually something to brag about the way it is in American frat culture.
