Landscape with Skiproads
On stage, a collection of objects that have played a unique role in our history. Without exception these are the objects that were present at key moments in history. They were there when we became who we are today. When once more a stretch of our path was laid down for us, they were present in silence. With these, Pieter De Buysser, a boy and his horse are on a search for a lost future. A joyful and epic journey is taking off.
Book Burning
History is clogged. There are no more revolutions. What else can we add?
In Book Burning, Pieter De Buysser tells the story of Sebastian, a man he met at an Occupy demonstration, whose life has become embroiled in a WikiLeaks scandal. He follows the mans search to discover the root of a genetic illness that took the life of his wife and now threatens his daughter, Tilda. She just wants to forget it all.
This is a play about forgetting and forgiving, knowledge and riddles, secrets and the lack of stories. It is a captivating fable, told by a charming storyteller in the guise of Schrdingers cat, about personal histories, globalisation and the beginnings of a new world.
Book Burning testifies to the possibilities of language and the magical power of a radical imagination.

Pieter De Buysser
At the age of 20, Pieter De Buysser took a train to Paris to visit a school for clowns. He decided to study philosophy. Since, he writes fiction and non-fiction, theatre and non-theatre and he performs his own texts on stage as a non-clown, a speculative realist, a transformatador in one. His fables are political, radical, epic and concrete. He has been described as a contemporary Hironymus Bosch of literature and a 22nd-century storyteller.
His plays have been invited to or commissioned by houses and festivals such as Kunstenfestivaldesarts Brussels, Berliner Festspiele, Taipei Festival, Biennale Wiesbaden new plays from Europe, Dublin Festival, Melbourne Festival, Baltoscandal Estonia, Thtre de la Bastille Paris, Fondation Cartier Paris, HAU Berlin... His writings have been translated and staged into Polish, French, German, Italian and English. His first novel De Keisnijders was published in 2012 by De Geus. Currently he travels extensively throughout Europe with his latest monologues, Book Burning & Landscape with skiproads.
Margarita Production
Margarita Production collaborates with up-and- coming artists from various disciplines that have the potential to create proper artistic careers in the near future. The track is set according to the specific needs of each artist and ranges from pre-production, advice with the writing of funding applications and financial supervision to distribution and tour management.
Despite its short history, Margarita Production has established itself in the Brussels, Flemish and international artistic landscape and also closely collaborates with a large number of organizations. Because of this, Margarita can offer the artist an extensive network within which the right contacts can be found for individual projects. Distribution and visibility are crucial elements when launching new - and often unusual - work. Not sales, but the visibility of the artist is the objective.
Since September 2013 onwards we joined forces with Mokum. Together well continue to develop the professional support for independent artists and artistic projects.
