W hen Dr. Gary Schwartz asked me to write the foreword for this project, I was honored. Our relationship is a professional one that does not include social gatherings or friendly phone chats. We might exchange emails a few times a year to say hello and update each other on our family and work, but I would not have suspected that I would be a candidate to write the foreword for this book.
