We are an integral part of the Universe because we are conscious, intelligent and formed from the same elements that comprise the billions of galaxies that surround us. As a result, we are intimately linked to the infinite presence of the Universe because we are a part of it, and it is a part of us. In a nutshell, the Universe loves us because it loves itself. The infinite intelligence of the Universe cannot express itself fully in a star because it lacks consciousness, but it can express its magnificence through us because we have the ability to learn, to love, and to be aware. The aim of the Universe is that we become aware of our potential to create positive and life-affirming circumstances by learning to use our thoughts and feelings constructively. Once we release the negative thoughts and feelings about our ability to experience true love, we align ourselves to all the love and fulfillment that is rightfully ours. GETTING CLEAR ABOUT THE QUALITIES YOU DESIRE IN A SOUL MATE

In order to attract your ideal soul mate you should be as specific as possible about the very important qualities you desire in a person, such as honesty, integrity, and commitment. It is important to be clear about these qualities because the Universal Law, or Law of Attraction, cannot respond to wishy-washy, half-hearted desires. Therefore, your first plan of action is to create a written list of at least twenty qualities you desire in a life partner. You should also create a list of qualities that you are willing to offer your soul mate, such as clear communication, understanding, or whatever is important to you. Relationships are two-way streets, so you must be willing to offer the same qualities that you expect from a person. Once you have created this list, you will use it to compose an Intention Statement that will help you focus on the loving conditions you desire, so be sure to take enough time to brainstorm for words and ideas that are important to you. As you create this list you should be clear about non-negotiable deal breakers such as smoking, drinking, or whatever is important to you. If you cannot tolerate cigarette smoke or alcohol, then your list should reflect these choices so that you will not end up with a life partner who has habits that are unappealing.
