In Partners in Crime, my goal is to present the various Clinton Foundation criminal scams, with each narrative backed up by detailed research, extensive footnoting largely from mainstream media and government sources, and expert testimony, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Clinton Foundation is a vast, criminal conspiracy,1 and a slush fund for grifters.2 From taking over the governors office in Little Rock to lying their way to the White House to skimming money from their lucrative foundation, the Clintons are known for criminal behavior. The Clintons have advanced a criminal scheme since leaving the White House in 2000 that has enabled them to amass hundreds of millions of dollars in personal net worth, while building a $2 billion empire in the Clinton Foundation and raising an additional $1 billion to fund their political campaigns, including Hillarys second run for the presidency. The victims are countless thousands of honest people who contributed their hard-earned money to what they thought were philanthropic causes, while the Clintons used the Clinton Foundation to exploit for their personal profit impoverished millions in the United States and around the world, victims of earthquakes in India and Haiti, and sufferers of HIV/AIDS in the Third World.

M y interest in the Clinton Foundation as a criminal enterprise began when my longtime New York associate Charles Ortel brought to my attention his research on the Clinton Foundation financial statements. Ortel, a well-known Wall Street analyst and private investor, has a long history of financial analytic work that, while often controversial, has generally been devastating in its conclusions and consequences.

Ortel, a frequent guest on Bloomberg television and a contributor to several print and Internet publications, including the Washington Times, began his Wall Street career working from June 1980 through July 2002 with Dillon, Read & Co., followed by the Bridgeford Group and the Chart Group. His international investment expertise frequently involves complex legal and financial structures in many different countries. He is currently managing director of Newport Value Partners, which provides independent investment research to professional investors.

I have been reporting on Dinesh DSouzas documentary films and best-selling books for years. This book is dedicated to Dinesh. I attended his various criminal proceedings, including his sentencing hearing, in federal court in Lower Manhattan, reporting for WND. As a result, I have experienced firsthand what I conclude is selective criminal prosecution because he dared speak out and oppose Barack Obama, starting in 2008. With great courage and equanimity, Dinesh has suffered the intolerance of the far left currently leading the Democratic Party. The far left represented by Barack Obama and the Clintons has no compunctions about politicizing the IRS and the Department of Justice, violating the spirit and meaning of equal justice under law. The Obama administration has allowed the Clintons to perpetrate a philanthropic criminal fraud of massive proportions, with the mainstream media complicit in lavishing praise on the good works accomplished, as if the Clinton Foundation were a legitimate charity. The IRS and DOJ have failed to be vigilant regarding regulatory filing deadlines, organizational structure, the legitimacy of audited financial statements, and a host of other irregularities that should have closed down the Clinton Foundation decades ago. At the same time, the Obama DOJ sought to incarcerate DSouza for a technical offense that would have received an IRS fine and a DOJ reprimand, had only Dinesh made his inconsequential straw contribution to a Democrat running for office.

Peter Schweizer is another true hero of this book. For years, I have interviewed and reported on Peter as he has sought to expose political corruption of both Democrats and Republicans. My determination to write this book intensified after Peter published his 2015 best-selling book, Clinton Cash. The personal abuse the Clintons and their supporters heaped on Schweizer after the books publication convinced me that the Clintons were up to their usual low-road modus operandi. Ad hominem insults were hurled against Peter precisely because the substance of what he was arguing was irrefutably trueso true that the Clintons could not afford politically the risk that the American public might read the book for themselves and see how accurately he had described the Clintons criminal get-rich-quick-and-often scheme. This book adds new evidence to the many Clinton Foundation scams Peter first explored, providing added credibility to his accusation that the Clinton Foundation involves a massive pay-to-play bribery scheme in which seven-figure charitable donations and six-figure speakers fees were sought in return for favorable policy decisions engineered by a secretary of state running the Clinton Foundation via a private e-mail server, in direct violation of national security laws.

Over the years, I have interviewed investigative reporter Ed Klein many times, and I always find his inside information to be accurate, even if often highly controversial. In writing his 2014 best-selling book Blood Feud,of the Clinton family and the Clinton Foundation that aided me greatly in understanding how the criminal husband-and-wife team operated.

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, has been a stalwart friend since 2004, when I coauthored with John ONeill the Swift Boat book that confronted John Kerrys presidential campaign. Tom has been a dogged researcher, and without Judicial Watch, many of the fundamental disclosures underpinning the central arguments of this book would not have been possible. Like Tom, Joe diGenova has played an important role in Washington as a former Justice Department insider. Joes insights about the FBI criminal investigation of Hillary Clintons private e-mail server at the Department of State was critical in understanding how the e-mailslargely unearthed through Judicial Watch FOIA lawsuitsmorphed inevitably into an investigation of the Clinton family criminal exploitation of the Clinton Foundation through various pay-to-play schemes.

Roger Stone, another long-term associate whom I have interviewed repeatedly, added with his 2015 best seller The Clintons War on Women a deeper understanding of how Hillary worked overtime, even as secretary of state, to cover up alleged sexual abuse by her husband. Stone, who worked in the White House with presidents Nixon and Reagan, has added new dimensions to my understanding of how central the Clinton Foundation has been to the Clintons ability to pay off those with firsthand knowledge of Bills sexual behavior.

Finally, WND founder and CEO Joseph Farah was the first to urge me to write this book. Since 2004, I have worked at WND under his direction and guidance, grateful also for the insight and encouragement of WND cofounder Elizabeth Farah. Once again, I want to express in print my gratitude to Joseph and Elizabeth, not only for a dozen years of friendship, but also for their always-thoughtful advice and counsel.
