We can see today that the Communist Party, or what is considered the progressive forces, have actually taken over the Democratic Party. The argument I want to make in this e-book, and to trace the history of it, is that this was a conscious attempt by the Communist Party that the only way they were really going to succeed in the United States was not through a traditional revolution, class struggle revolution that Karl Marx had anticipated, but in fact, through a very, very different process. And going back even into the pre-World War II period, theres clear indications that the thinkers are trying to figure out how to get the United States to be communist, were anticipating that their best way of entry might be through the Democratic Party.

We know now through recent revelations that in 1935, the Comintern in Russia, which was then the Soviet Union, made a decision that they were going to attack the United States, entering through Hawaii. Hawaii was considered to be one of the most vulnerable points. It was a multicultural society; it had all of the characteristics of being a more kind of open and egalitarian society that the communists thought was going to be the future of the United States and the world.

So we find even in some of the congressional hearings, and this was, I think, a large surprise to researchers going back and looking at the House Un-American Activities Committee hearings in the late 1940s and early 1950s. This is the testimony right here that Im holding that was taken in 1951, the House Un-American Activities Committee on July 6, 1951, of a Hawaiian union organizer of the longshoremen whose name was Jack Kawano, K-A-W-A-N-O. He was known to have been a radical organizer in the late 30s, causing strikes which were anticipated then by the communists could have been the beginning of a revolution in Hawaii that would have led to Hawaii becoming a communist state. And in the testimony, what is said here is pretty shocking in that Kawano, Jack Kawano, this labor organizer, under questioning from the House Un-American Activities Committee, says that in Hawaii, there were lively discussions of various ways and means of taking over the Democratic Party of Hawaii.

One of the things that was discussed was that the situation maybe to first take over the leadership of the precincts, then once getting settled to the county committee, and the territorial central committee, being elected delegates to the Democratic Convention. And this was a conscious plan then of the Communist Party. Jack Kawano says a little bit later, I believe the influences of the Communist Party in the Democratic Party of Hawaii is still very strong, and if it were not for the few liberals in the Democratic Party who are strongly anti-communist, but at the same time, commanding the respect of many laboring people and union members who were fighting the Communists in the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party of Hawaii would be controlled by the Communist Party.

So, I think that was one of the very first perceptions, starting in Hawaii, and if youll recall, this goes back to labor strikes and others with the longshoremen that were trying to create within Hawaii the point of real upheaval that could be favorable to the communists coming in and establishing, through the Democratic Party, a communist state. Now, also remember that in 1948, Communist Party member Frank Marshall Davis arrived from Chicago, where he was a journalist, a poet, a photographer, known as a communist, and he became a member of the Honolulu Record. He became a journalist and a columnist for many, many years. From 1970 to 1979, Frank Marshall Davis tutored, became a mentor to, the young Barack Obama. Barack Obama, born in 1961. So, some of the influences here in Hawaii are very important, not just because they represented the model by which I think today, communists who are largely masking as progressives or socialists. And the differences between socialists and communists are really largely technical. I think most people would find them to be fairly theoretical points of political argumentation.

But the basic idea is that private property is gone, the state control of private property is in place, collectivism and redistribution of income is sought to create social justice. And what we have today is a Democratic Party which, under the leadership of Tom Perez, who is a former La Raza lawyer, and Keith Ellison, who is an admitted now former Black Panther and also basically a member of the Nation of Islam, black Muslim, what this leads to is a realization that the Democratic Party has moved hard left and as this whole e-book is going to demonstrate, we see it today in manifestations such as Antifa and the Black Lives Matter, Soros funding, the attempt to control social media as well as the mainstream media with Silicon Valley going hard, hard left.

Even with the US intelligence agencies under John Brennan. John Brennan, I believe, was the CIA handler for Barack Obama because in 2008, before the election, John Brennans security firm, a private security firm, that was the group that did the break-in to get Barack Obamas passport records into the State Department and to sanitize them. Those records have never been seen. Now, John Brennan emerges as an advisor, the National Security Council to President Obama, and then hes head of the CIA. Its pretty clear he spent enough time in the Middle East, he speaks Arabic. From all indications, I believe he converted to Islam. John Brennan was one of the ones who insisted we now talk about radical Islamic Islam. That was again, it violates one of the five pillars of Islam to say anything negative about Islam. So a terrorist, by definition, to a Muslim cannot be a Muslim, would have to be outside the religion, and thats the way John Brennan proceeded to define terrorism, that they couldnt possibly be Muslims because Muslims by definition werent terrorists according to John Brennan, and that definition penetrated through the Department of Justice, the military.

The Democratic Party, I think today with Hillary Clintons loss, is even going farther left, and we had an increasing number of Democrats proclaiming themselves to be socialists. Im not aware they claim themselves yet to be communists, but it wont surprise me. Theyre progressive socialists today, and we can see that the Democratic Socialists of America have for years insisted they have 70 Members of Congress in their ranks. Some estimates are as high as 80 or 85 Members of Congress, and of course, largely Democrats. I mean, this is the entire leftist orientation of the Democratic Party.

So what I want to do in this beginning part of the why the Democratic Party has gone communist, I want to explain some of the history and some of the roots here, making it clear that the marriage between the Democratic Party and the Communist Party in the United States is not an accidental marriage, but it has foundation in what both parties stand for. I think thats going to be a very important recognition as we go through this e-book, to understand that when were looking at Democrats today, were looking at a version of communism that I never thought would be introduced seriously into America in my lifetime.

Now, I want to go back to the period of time, the 1917 period of time, as I mentioned, when then they were considered to be anarchists or radicals, who were opposing World War I. Eugene V. Debs was in prison for a speech he gave in Canton, Ohio, in which he objected to the war, and he was punished under the 1917 Espionage Act, which forbid speech of certain kinds, including speech which encouraged Americans to resist the war. Well, among the group resisting the war in 1917 was one of the early founders of the ACLU, Roger Nash Baldwin. Roger Baldwin was himself, I believe, a communist.
