Richard Trillo ( richardtrillo.com ) isthe Kenya Programme Manager at Expert Africa, a UK tour operatorspecializing in tailor-made trips to East and southern Africa. For manyyears he was Director of Communications at Rough Guides, and as well asThe Rough Guide to Kenya he is the author ofthe Rough Guide to West Africa and co-authorof The Rough Guide to First-Time Africa. He hastravelled widely in Africa on every kind of budget and, since first visitingKenya in 1981, has covered the length and breadth of the country many times.He has a masters degree in anthropology and African linguistics from theSchool of Oriental and African Studies, London University, but his firstpassion was wildlife his childhood ambition to be a zoologist was thwartedby a total impatience with chemistry. He lives in remote suburbia with hiswife, Teresa Driver, and their transient offspring.

Harriet Constable is a freelance journalist and blogger based between London and Nairobi.She specializes in travel, food and lifestyle and her work is mostlyfeature-length pieces for online and print.
