This short but substantial book by Glynn Harrison sounds a profoundly prophetic voice to the church in the twenty-first century. He challenges us to stop behaving like terrified rabbits caught in headlights, or some form of collective Christian Rambo out to destroy all opposition. Instead, he calls us, like our Lord, to tell the better story we have been given, with kingdom joy and excitement. Who knows? If the church takes up his challenge, we could change the world.

Lis Goddard, Vicar of St James the Less, Pimlico, London, and co-author of The Gender Agenda

A really first-rate piece of work on a most important topic. The style is warm, persuasive and engaging. The content is clear, incisive and wise. We really need this book! Glynn Harrison has served the church and wider society very, very significantly by writing it.
