She is author/co-author of textbooks and published articles and is the recipient of many professional research awards. Shirley A. Griggs, EdD, MA, is professor and coordinator of counseling, Division of Human Services and Counseling, St. John's University, New York. Rose Lefkowitz, MPA, RRA, is Associate Professor, State University of New York's Health Science Center at Brooklyn College of Health-Related Professions. She is a St. John's University Instructional Leadership doctoral candidate and an article and book author.
