Main Contributors

Eleanor Berman is a widely published writer for magazinesand newspapers and the author of 14 travel guides. Her books include twoother guides for Dorling Kindersley, Top 10 New York City and theEyewitness Travel Guide: New York City, which won a Thomas Cookaward for best guidebook. She also contributed to DK Family Guide: NewYork City and Family Guide: Washington, DC.

Joseph Hayes moves between New York, Italy, Scotland, andhis home in Orlando, while writing about travel, food, and art for print andonline publications across the world. He is the restaurant critic forOrlando Magazine and has worked with DK Eyewitness Travel since2003. He is also a playwright and a jazz event producer, whose work has beenproduced in New York, California, Florida, and the United Kingdom. Hayesworked for many years in the publishing field in New York before moving tocentral Florida to take up writing as a full-time career.

Stephen Keeling has been traveling to Florida since 1991,and covering the state for various travel guides since 2008. He worked as afinancial journalist and editor in Asia for seven years before writing hisfirst travel book. Since then he has written for The Independent,The Daily Telegraph, and various travel publications. He hasauthored an award-winning family guide to Tuscany and Umbria, and hasresearched travel guides to Puerto Rico, New England, Mexico, and Canada.Stephen lives in New York City.

Chelle Koster Walton, a travel writer, has written andcontributed to 10 guidebooks two of which won Lowell Thomas Awards andarticles for magazines such as FamilyFun, Caribbean Travel +Life, National Geographic Traveler, Arthur Frommers BudgetTravel, Endless Vacation, The New York Post, and otherprint and electronic media. She is the co-founder of www.guidebookwriters.com andis a member of the Society of American Travel Writers.

Sharon Weightman Hoffmann is a freelance writer and editorbased in Atlantic Beach, Florida. Although her primary work is in journalismand marketing, she also provides emerging authors with a range of bookdoctor services.
