Norbert Paxton has been on the road almost non-stop since 2002 the same year that he first pitched up inthe Land of Morning Calm and has now travelled to more than 100 countries. However, the Koreasremain hovering around the very top of his favourite-countries-on-earth list: he blames the eternalpleasures of makgeolli, galbi andpajeon; the otherworldly ridiculousness of North Korea; and, on bothsides of the border, the wonderful Koreans themselves.
