ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Alasdair Baverstock is an award-winning foreign correspondent based in Mexico City. He hasalso updated the Rough Guides to Central America on aBudget and South America on aBudget.

Sarah Hull has been a contributor to Rough Guides since 2005, writing about NewEngland, Canada, New York City, Miami and the American South. Her love forMexico began with a long-ago visit to the blue house in Coyoacn and showsno sign of diminishing, especially if shes sifting through an Oaxacanmarketplace. When shes not on the road, shes in New York Supreme Courtreporting on corporate shenanigans and celebrity lawsuits.

Stephen Keeling first travelled around Mexico by bus in 1991 and has been covering thecountry for Rough Guides since 2006. He worked as a financial journalist forseven years before writing his first travel guide, and has written books onSpain, Puerto Rico, New York, New England, Florida, Canada, Taiwan andTuscany. He lives in New York City.

Shafik Meghji first visited Mexico in 1999. A south London-based travel writer andjournalist, he has worked on over 25 Rough Guides and writes regularly forpublications around the world. Shafik is a fellow of the Royal GeographicalSociety, a member of the British Guild of Travel Writers and a trustee ofthe Latin America Bureau.
