Introduction
Greetings readers! First, I want to thank you for purchasing my book, as it has always been my lifelong passion to help others. In my moments of despair, when I didnt think there was any hope, I couldnt even fathom the idea of one day being able to turn my mess into a message. However, with much determination, study, and application of what I have learned, and experiencing a dramatic transformation in my life, I am now able to pass on what I have learned and help others live a better life by becoming the best version of themselves. Second, I want to congratulate you for taking the bold step towards change, because I can tell you from my own personal experience that it is not easy.
We live in a world that tells us that in order to be happy we must acquire more goods. Everywhere we look and everywhere we turn we are bombarded with images of what it means to be prosperous and successful, but what ends up happening is that we become overwhelmed with the meaningless goods we have acquired. Clutter in the home creates disorder, and disorder in the home creates chaos in our lives.
In this book you will learn that there is much more to clutter than you thought. Not only am I going to teach you how to eliminate clutter from your home, but also how to eliminate clutter from your relationships, emotions, and much more, so that you can live the happy and prosperous life that you know you deserve!

Chapter 1 : Start by Making Your Bed
I can already hear youStart by making your bed?! It sounds absolutely ridiculous, doesnt it? But did you know that this is the first lesson that the people who protect your country learn when they enter the military? It sounds completely backwardthere is a global crisis of terrorism but bed making is a priority! No matter what country you are in, before the military trains their soldiers to fight on the battlefield, they train them how to make their beds. And I mean rigorous training. If there is ever such thing as a bed making competition, a soldier will win it every time. Why are they trained to make their beds with proper forty-five-degree hospital corners? Is the opposition going to be impressed by their ability to bounce a quarter off the bed? No! The purpose is to instill a habit of excellence into the soldiers. Human beings are creatures of habitif a person thinks its okay to leave trash in his car, he will leave it in any car he sits in because thats just what he does. The bottom line is that its the smallest habits that count. They determine how you are going to do everything else in life. In other words, if a soldier cant make his bed, he has no business defending his country.
Imagine walking into the barracks of the American Army and seeing a line of unmade beds, clothes all over the floor, and the place just looking like an overall hot mess. How much faith would you have in the military? None, right? Your first thought would be, if they cant keep their own living space clean, how can they safeguard the country? If you cant be bothered to make your bed, you wont be bothered when it comes to loading your rifle. A cluttered environment is a reflection of a cluttered mind. I generally find it pretty easy to judge where a person is mentally when I walk into their house. This is why there is so much importance placed on attention to detail in every area of a soldiers training. In the military, beds are called racks, and making a rack in a specific way is not just for cleanliness, but also to ensure that all the soldiers are on the same page.
