Letter From The Editor
Spring! Lets hope it treats us kindly afterour gruelingly long and seemingly neverending winter.
Do you find you never have enough spaceon your counter tops for all your kitchentools? Its the time of year for kitchenrenovations and spring-cleaning, whichcan mean clearing out unused appliancesand gadgets. To help you declutter withease, this year we asked twelve of Albertasnotable chefs and experts which gadgetsthey regularly use in their kitchens, andwhich they can live without.
in for a very fun day, and I look forwardto seeing you on April 22nd. If yourein Edmonton, save the date for our 2ndAnnual Treasure Hunt on September 9th.
We took a look at corkscrews too, as youcan find an embarrassing amount of themin your top drawer when your life revolvesaround wine. I never leave home withoutat least three or four in my handbag (wellI might get stuck in a lift, and can youimagine having wine but no corkscrewthen?), and I have to have two handbagsso I can keep one corkscrew-free fortravelling through airports as Ive lost toomany good ones that way!
Whats on your Easters table this year?Weve got ideas for you whether yourelamb leaning or hamming it up, and foreggs too in our Step-by-Step. And wheretheres eggs theres often coffeeCheers,
Linda Garson, Editor-in-Chief
