ABOUT CLAY POTS
Clay pots come in a wide range of sizes, from mini 2" (5cm) pots through to large 10" (25.5cm) pots and beyond. You can find clay pots at most craft stores, as well as flower nurseries and many mass retailers. Most stores carry the standard flowerpot shape, but be sure to keep an eye out for any unique sizes or shapes that might suit the style of your project.
Clay pot sizes are not always exact, and the measurements listed on the pots can vary by store. Ultimately, the projects in the book can be made in any size youd like. The measurements listed here are general guidelines to give you an idea of the sizes used in this book. All measurements refer to the approximate diameter of the pot opening. The projects will simply refer to the pots as extra small, small, medium, etc.
TIP
The tall pots are sometimes called rose pots in the store. These are great for creating a mod look.
