A Perfect Tour of Cancn & Cozumel
Day 1
Beach attractions
Have breakfast at your hotel and head straight for one of Cancns beaches Playa Tortuga, Playa Chaac Mool or Playa Delfines. In the afternoon take a stroll down Boulevard Kukulcn, shopping for souvenirs and people-watching before finally settling down for dinner at one of the many popular restaurants.
Day 2
Water sports
If youre into water sports, the best place to go is Aquaworld in Cancns Hotel Zone which has all kinds of water-based activities. Spend the whole day in the lagoon; snorkeling, observing marine life from a mini-submarine or enjoying a Jungle Tour. Aquaworld also arranges visits to an unusual underwater museum which boasts some 500 monumental sculptures.
Day 3
Museo Maya
Make it a Mayan day and visit the Museo Maya de Cancn. Take your time to admire exquisite Mayan sculptures, ceramics and jewelry and if you still have some energy, walk to the nearby San Miguelito and Ruinas del Rey archaeological sites.
Day 4
Isla Mujeres
In the morning take a short ferry ride to Isla Mujeres. There, visit Tortugranja to see endangered turtles and nearby Playa Lancheros to dine at one of the restaurants on the sandy beach. Then, at the southern tip of the island, head for the lovely Garrafn-Punta Sur National Park.
